Well, it might be just me, but I don't want to play Orlesian. Leliana's talk about elven servant, Loghain's banter about his dog and that girl from the Market District put me off that nation. Maybe for good, maybe not, but I'm content to think of them as bastards for now.

New area - Knotwood Hills: http://dragonage.bio...knotwood_hills/
I suspect that this is where you meet Velanna.

Velanna and/or Sigrun is my guess.

Me too, Kulyok! I've got enough of my own Wardens to import now, so no probs.

Meet Justice - a character that was written by David Gaider.

The Fade is full of emotions, but there are also some more noble ones found there as well. Sadly, Justice is no longer one of those, as it has been ripped from the Fade and placed in the body of a dead Grey Warden. Here's the first look at Justice.

I like Justice based on this short trailer. His concept also reminds me of Vhalior from Planescape Torment, which is cool.

I loved Vhailor, myself. Of course, it was difficult to find him a place in my party, because of Morte, Dak'kon, Annah, Nordom and Fall-from-Grace. But in Awakening it's going to be simpler: fewer characters. Besides, Justice 1) was written by David Gaider; 2) sounds awesome!

I also really liked Vhalior, but I still had to kill him at some point because I played a rather chaotic character. But then there's no character in PST that I didn't like.

As for Justice, he certainly seems more well, peaceful than the character mentioned above. And I like that we're also getting a not-entirely-humanoid character in Awakening, like Shale in Origins.

Hm... this is intriguing. Justice is the first new companion to actually make Awakening seem more interesting to me. Excellent.

There have been first accounts of Awakening(people bought the game early). I don't recommend viewing these threads, as you might get spoiled(I didn't, but I didn't read all of it), but anyway, links:

http://social.biowar...7/index/1723405

Be aware of these technical issues(no spoilers):
- Wade's armors don't seem to have set bonuses in Awakening;
- Power of Blood abilities from Warden's Keep don't seem to work in Awakening.

Thanks for the links, although I don't think I'll read all those for fear of spoilers.

The comic is complete(and it's actually good and non-spoilery): http://social.biowar...7/index/1184744

And the final character's video's been updated:

It seems like every major game gets sold earlier these days than officially announced - apparently Awakening is available to general public in German and Swiss stores at least.

And to some of us here, too - at least from what I saw this morning. I might even start playing it tonight.

Thus my suggestion: maybe it's worth it to put a [NO SPOILERS] tag on this thread, and open another one, for spoilers? Or I(or someone else) can open a spoier topic, once we've started playing.

That figures. Only in the US are release dates the earliest possible date you can get the game. And pre-ordering a game means that you'll get it on release date + shipping time, not release date. <_<
