Hello all.

I know there's already a topic in this subject out there, i've read it, but I was baffled with all the info, and mixed tips.

Im having the so called "script stutter", and I was wondering, If there's a way to detect wich queste (the most common cause of the stutter, I understand), are making the game stutter, through shadow keeper.

May I also plead to any caring soul out there, to enlighten me in "the ways of the stutter", since the one topic posted is not so "user friendly"

Thank you.

No, really no, with Shadow Keeper.

May I also plead to any caring soul out there, to enlighten me in "the ways of the stutter", since the one topic posted is not so "user friendly"

Reasons:
1) The N/Player Character stutter, when you command a character, the command/movement stops for some odd reason.
2) The game stutters, there are certain circumstances, that when unpaused the game lags greatly, so much that things happen as if the whole picture stalls for a while.
3) Other game character(not a player controlled character) tries to start something but doesn't finish, like talking to the player char, but having nothing to say, the player has nothing other choice but quit, and then char tries to yet again start the same talk...
Causes:
1) Scripting error, the moder would need to know the exact what(does the char do?), who(which char?) and in what circumstances it began(did the chapter change, did you just complete a quest?)
2) The list here#4.
3) This is caused by a scripting error, that doesn't check the right variables, or wrong variables, or then they just don't get set, but that should be the mod makers problem, not your's, or then it's Noober.

Thank you Jarno, useful as always. I skipped some of those on the list, but they are mindful.

If you would like to know, I solved my stutter with the "import to TOB" techique.

Worked very well.

Thanks again.

Well, this is just freakin surprising. Seeing this nozes' success, I tried the "import to ToB" in my freshly started BGII game (which started to stutter once the Irenicus-Imoen magic missile-whoosh scene finished) and I'm really astonished to say that the "almighty Darpaek's" discovery worked like a charm.

This seriously needs investigating ^_^ Meanwhile ... ALL HAIL!!! DARPAEK!!!

Cheers,
Lol
