Hmm, lots of "Patch ends prematurely"-type stuff So I guess it's better to wait for an official BWP patch than use my hackneyed job (unless you wanna use the "almost-there package above the borkpack ... that one works)

I'll happily give that one a test, but I'm a little confused as to what's what. Is your "almost there" file another trimpack, or a fixpack? It's packaged rather differently to the "borkpack". Given the potential for breaking things, could you specify exactly what to do with it?

Aye, the timing of exactly when to use it was what was worrying me. Especially with the beta client. I'd probably best leave it be then for now.

Ok, owing to my utter lack of imba-patching-skeelz and thanks to Arkenor's brilliant mind, we have a new BWP (unofficial) Borkpack

This one's just the standard BWP Trimpack modded to overwrite files instead of patching them.

NOTE:
1) This IS a temporary measure until someone patches the biffmeister
2) I'll have to release a new version of the Borkpack everytime a new mod version gets out (cause this overwrites instead of patching)

I've tested it out and the results do give a folder identical to the biffmeister_almost_there package, and to make things even more perfect, the BWPInstall.bat applies the Trimpack FIRST (before Fix/Smooth/Textpacks) so there's no harm in overwriting (just like how all the overwriting mods should be installed first and yada yada )

Spell Rev will likely be because I'd added the latest spellrev and itemrev hotfixes myself , what with the fixpack being out of date.

PS: omgawsum_biffmeister is the one that should be patchified, Borkpackv9.4 is just a (temporary but needed) replacement for the current Trimpackv9.1.1 until the trimpack is officially updated

Ok, Mad Mate revised the v9.4 borkpack to work for TDDv1.14 and CtBv1.13

Ok this is the motherlode people Let's try patchifying this thing one more time Spanking new borkpack - all patchified using winmerge's unified patch generator with a padding space of 3 lines

Someone should really really test it out before the BWS tries to link to this though (in short ... DO NOT link unless someone says it works without errors)

But IF it works - it's a HUGE improvement over the current (doomed) "Trimpack"

Why not have the BWS pull the version from the SHS DL manager and upload new versions there once they've been tested, instead of this "link to this attachment, link to that attachment" stuff you've got going now? (Obviously the version on SHS would need to be updated first.)

But first ... we need to know if this one works, non?? ... instead of dooming hundreds of clueless players because of some silly typo, we doom just 1 clueless guinea pig ... I mean beta-tester ofcourse

Methinks Leonardo Watson can access the BWPTrimpack dl page, but we need to be absolutely sure that this works cause Mr. Watson himself had earlier asked against trying to make patches ourselves

The package is maintained by Leomar, just like the Kit guide... maybe just ask an administrator to get the rights, since it is/was your stuff to begin with.

Small bump: You use ToA 2.0 -- bad stuff, 2.2 is out. You're awful.

Don't know if you added some fixes (commented stuff) that should be done later by the Fixpack.

Batches and some of the tp2-files are identical. You can use WinMerge youself, so go and have a look at the folders I ran the batches on.

I've attached the original test-files, the copied and patched version.

If you like to, you can test if the original files are the correct ones. Testing new build should be easier with the orig-folder. I'll remove the file if any modder feels offended / it breaks copyrights.

Here's Borkpack v10 (aka "omg-i-finally-learnt-to-patch" edition ) ... ran it on your orig folder (you were missing quit a few files there mate ) and attached my test results

You were checking the wrong file Its' BP-NeJAreasSounds.bat not NeJAreasSounds.bat

Testing new build should be easier with the orig-folder.

Ah now I understand! The Borkpack v9.5.8 uses ToA 2.0 9.5.9 should switch over to patch ToA 2.2
