Also, I should probably state that I installed 1pp after bg2 fixpack, at the beginning of the installation process.
Sorry for the back to back posts, but I felt that my above post needed clarifying. Have to say that I love the fact that bucklers have been made little and round, and that fiery blades now look fiery. Keep working your magic!

I can't say whether it would or would not cause problems to install it last (I'm not familiar with most larger mods out there). If you're using other current 1pp components (you didn't mention) like the avatar patches or the v3 paperdolls, there's almost certainly going to be some conflict (i.e. reverting to the old files).

The legacy shields do not change the inventory icons, just the avatar animations. It's probably indeed the everything but potions part that is missing.

Naw... just the legacy shields bucklers and medium shields, flaming swords and short swords, installed from 1pp v2.70. So, "everything but potions" changes the icons. Well if that's the case than I know that's why the inventory icons aren't showing up, cause I didn't install it . I know it sounds silly, but, while installing I couldn't remember what the component did (I know, I know I'm sure I could have found out by looking around - some might even think the name of the component says it all - I have a feeling it's probably stated in the read me... got lazy I guess) so I skipped it. I guess what I need to know now is whether or not I can install that component (and only that component as the others I want are already installed) now that I've biffed and all that jazz. Or, do I have to go all the way back to 1pp in the installation order to snap it in there? Guess maybe I should try posting on a biff forum. Thanks a lot for your help.

And don't worry about the readme thing. It has been suggested to me that I should title my readmes "Secret Diary DON'T READ" to get people to actually read them.

In theory, yes, you can install an uninstalled mod component long after other components are installed, even after biffing. In practice, this might cause undesired results, though I doubt that'd be the case here.I guess what I need to know now is whether or not I can install that component (and only that component as the others I want are already installed) now that I've biffed and all that jazz. Rofl. Maybe all readmes should be that way. Either that or make them accessible only via a big red button that says "DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, CLICK ON THIS BUTTON!"And don't worry about the readme thing. It has been suggested to me that I should title my readmes "Secret Diary DON'T READ" to get people to actually read them.

Guess I'll try to install the component and let the chips fall where they may. If things go screwy, guess I can always start over with a clean install. Once again, thank you for the help.

I have a feeling it would only work once though.
