Well the first week the party is at the island and does the quests while in the meantime they get infected by the disease. When the party travels back to Ulgoth's beard, it should only take 2 to 3 days as the island and Ulgoth's are physically not that far, sort of like Cuba to Florida. Now there is the extra stop with NTotSC island but that is on the way back and not off the beat and path. I don't see a three week extravaganza unless the party is "resting until healed" every time for eight days.
How is the travel time actually accomplished with this cut-scene/text-screen mumbo-jumbo? I never paid attention to the in game clock and calendar. Is this done by some DayNight command in the scene or was it hardcoded in BG1 and therefore BGT?
20 days is too much time for good role-playing purposes.

"Oh my God(s)...we are infected with lycanthropy. Let's rest a lot for battles and take our time."
EDIT: Is this a new bug that sprung up after BGT 1.05-1.07? I never have had the problem with running out of time but I don't rest for days to memorize 10 spells either.

I was Playing BWP8.1 (or 8.2 I don't remember) with tactics pre-selections.EDIT: Is this a new bug that sprung up after BGT 1.05-1.07? I never have had the problem with running out of time but I don't rest for days to memorize 10 spells either.
I agree, I think 3 days more than the "travel time" is good (including NTotSC pleasure island).20 days is too much time for good role-playing purposes.
May be it can be useful to remind the player after 1 day that he is infected and that he has to find solution QUICKLY .

Well, the original fix comes from DudleyFix with this:How is the travel time actually accomplished with this cut-scene/text-screen mumbo-jumbo? I never paid attention to the in game clock and calendar. Is this done by some DayNight command in the scene or was it hardcoded in BG1 and therefore BGT?
Which were included into the v1.08(10.10.2009)Amends the voyages to and from Werewolf Island so that the game clock now shows they take 20 days rather than 3 hours.
This was fixed then with BGT-WeiDU's v1.08(26.11.2009) ... as it reads in the VersionHistory.htm in the .rar archive.

However, is it relevant to use the same version number (v1.08) if there are differences ?

Yes, according to Ascension64.However, is it relevant to use the same version number (v1.08) if there are differences ?
So this is in 1.08 only?

It could be in 100 versions but 20 days with a large ship is nonsense. It is not like the party is rowing a puddle jumper to the island. It's not that far away. Someone had their nautical map and compass dipped in beer. None of 20 days makes sense to me in that travel scenario. In one or two of them of them. As you'll see many of them in this page.So this is in 1.08 only?
EDIT: I know they get shipwrecked so whole travel time 6 days or a week which would equal some days lost at sea. It shouldn't take the same amount of time to get back either as that was a little smoother.

I didn't know that there were so much different packages with the same version numberIn one or two of them of them. As you'll see many of them in this page.So this is in 1.08 only?
It's not very important, it's just that I understand than when I was making small megamod "by hand", I have not always used the last BGT versionSorry, I am slack and therefore recommend that you check the release dates rather than the version number. Dates are are current as on the download page description, the archive comment, in the WeiDU.log after install, and in the VERSION field of the Setup-BGT.tp2 file.
