Well, the items a a bit different, so you can install the BWS without the Item Revisions mod.

Deactivated account. The user today is known as The Imp.

You lose out on the wildly varying and interesting revisions, nothing more. Also, halberds would no longer be able to slash.

Personally nothing ... just have a look at the readme of that mod to figure out what it does
