K so I've been reading through as much info as I could find, and I believe my installation order should be like this:

* bg2 + tob
* official patch
* bg2 fixpack
* big picture
* bgtrilogy
* bgttweak
* bgtmusic
* tutugui
* shadows over soubar
* check the bodies
* worldmap to fix the incompatibility between bgt and the other two megamods

and then the small mods:

* bg2tweak
* banterpack
* all the 1pp mods
* lastly, widescreen

Did I miss any silly mistakes?

Also, I am interested in the underrepresented items pack but I'm not sure whether that's actually necessary after all the items introduced by SoS and CtB.

I think you'd better download BWS and use it to download and install the mods you have chosen.
This way, it's very easy and you are sure to use the best known order.

The BWS v8.0 doesn't work currently... as it's being updated to v8.1...

The advice is to make manual setup, or download the mods you wish to have and then wait for the BWSv8.1...

Oh, thanks for the heads up!

I'll gather the mods and wait patiently for the next release of BWS. Thanks for the help guys! :)
