@Lava: Would it be alright to add Varshoon to Lvl1NPCs? I'm in the process of rounding up permissions from a number of NPC mod creators whose NPCs are not yet included. See this post for some more information.

I think someone already asked me about that, but it's pointless. Varshoon has his own, custom kit which is part of his heritage. He is a psionic creature and this would result in ridiculus situation like making a illithid berserker.
However, if players believe it ok, then... it's up to them. I myself think that's completely pointless and would result in breaking most basic rules.

I don't really have any personal plans to change Varshoon into something else, but it's good for Lvl1NPCs to cover as many mod NPCs as possible, I think. Thanks!

Edit: There is actually a FR prestige class for illithids called 'Body Tamer', which is a physical melee-focused fighter. Just sayin'. :)

I may be wrong, but doesn't Lvl1NPCs allow player to pick other class for supported NPCs? And I am afraid that this may result in some strange stuff, because for example Varshoon has unchangable weapon in each of his weapon slots... if someone change his class/kit, then he will loose all the abilities, resistances...
I have a bad feeling about this....

I understand (and actually share ;) ) your apprehension... But there's pretty big disclaimers in L1NPC about "you change an NPC into something stupid it's on you!". Other than class/kits you can however edit stats and proficiencies in L1NPC so there's that at least. Although I take it that changing proficiencies would make poor Varshoon pretty lame with his unchangeable weapons :P

I would say since it kind of breaks the mod, I wouldn't put in L1NPCs. But that's just me. Varshoon is different to other NPCs because he has racial abilities that will be broken by changing things.

I agree. Quester - you've got your answer. Sorry, but putting Varshoon in Lvl1NPCs will make Varshoon unplayable. This may damage the character.

I must admit that I'm looking forward especially for Irenicus. There could be so much potential behind their dialogues ;)

Hi, I really like this NPC good work, just wanted to say I had a problem when Varshoon died and I raised him he was missing all of his custom items,

Hi i know its been asked but can i translate it to polish? I can do that in few days. Really love this mod especially as there are so few well made evil NPCs.

Hi just a small bug report . After being turned into a drow in the Underdark when I used Varshoons dagger to attack anything it would cause the game to crash and a message about a courrpt item Bam file would pop up. iam still enjoying the mod

I'm afraid I can't add talks with Irenicus as I think author isn't here any longer. I may poke Liam to discuss Xulaye, though. Not sure what they would talk about, though.
