Urgh, I was not asking a clear question :whistling: , so I'll do that more precisely:
The BWS told you that it found an update and it installed that update as you desired?

Thanks again.

Install of Unique Containers fails though :(
I think it's nothing to do with BWP though, I think it's my install that's hosed...
Relevant bit of SETUP-CONTAIN.DEBUG

[cbsoumjr.dlg.DLG] loaded
[cbsoumjr.dlg] created from [CBSOUMJR.DLG.DLG]
[action list near line 33, column 2 of cbsoumjr.dlg] PARSE WARNING at line 34 column 1-34
Near Text: )
Not enough arguments to [GiveItemCreate]. Recovering.
Adding CBSOUMJR.DLG to internal list of available DLGs
[CBSOUMJR.DLG.DLG] saved	186 states, 237 trans, 21 strig, 48 ttrig, 34 actions
Copied [cbsoumjr.dlg] to [override/cbsoumjr.dlg]

This is a harmless warning apparently, because the dialogue does compile properly (I didn't even see the warning until I looked at the DEBUG just now).

Copying and patching 5 files ...
ERROR locating resource for 'COPY'
Resource [bag04c.sto] not found in KEY file:
	[./chitin.key]

As for this... I guess it's a mod bug potentially. Seems SPItemPack overwrites stuff added by RoT or something. Can you open up the file /contain/lib/t-store_fixes.tpa in a text editor and change this line:

ACTION_IF FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~bag04b.sto~ BEGIN //SPItems

To:

ACTION_IF FILE_EXISTS_IN_GAME ~bag04c.sto~ BEGIN //SPItems

Change bolded.

Thanks Miloch, that did the trick!

Ok, update is available.
Can someone please confirm if the download works? It does for me...

Okay now everything seems to be fine :) . I'm starting the install and I will report if some other problems appear.

@dreamer2007: You should make sure you use a clean/plain mod.ini. If it still contains the entries that were set to manual, the download will not proceed. I am a little to dizzy to look in the code for a proof that new updates will overwrite that, so please look for the mods in the selection-screen, open the homepage and make a link-test before you continue to install.

Additionally, the files in the download folder labeled "BDash168.exe", "Manual" (no extension), and "Soundset.zip" are 0 bytes in size.

This was done during a "standard" install from the Big World Setup.

Ok, that is not enough information.
Upload a zip-file with BiG World Setup\Config\Mod.ini, BiG World Setup\update\update.ini, BiG World Setup\Logs.

BDash has been updated - at least that's what I heard.

Had you actually looked into your own links thread, you would have noticed:

Hi, the link is down again... is there a other opportunity to upload the newest BDash Version?

@Jarno:
I am not going to crawl the net before posting something I noted as "potentially wrong". :P

@Guest:
The other three mods are missing during extraction because they are not officially present in the net any more.
I know that the error should appear in the download-section, though.
Did you have some connection-problems during the download? Or maybe it's a server-problem -- at least searching for some g3 mods I know failed here.

The other three mods are missing during extraction because they are not officially present in the net any more.

Which should be reason enough to exclude them from the BWP. Even if you could find them, the modders removed them because they are unfinished or otherwise lacking.

Some of those other ones... well, I guess I'll have to assume they're part of the so-called "Expert" install, but some are very out-of-character (e.g. Adventures in Papperland, Holy Hand Grenade, etc.).

Well, I asked why these were included when Moongaze removed them, and the answer was similar to "If someone has those mods and he want to play with them, why not?". I must admit that I have not played these mods, but they seem to be playable and not bugged. At least this was what Leomar told me. It seemed like the author just wanted to remove them together with the retirement.

And if you want to have some mods removed, why don't you open a topic like "Please remove these mods from BWP" and start a discussion -- I recall that Leonardo asked for a list of mods that you guys wanted to get separated.

And last but not least: Some mods were removed to make the BWP more quality and not quantity some time ago, but since this would not fit with the "BiG World" theme, they were added again.
Don't ask me, it was not my request, so I don't know.

@guest: Hmm, the urls are ok, the update did not overwrite the link with rubbish.
Maybe there was a little connection-problem with the shs-server? I remind someone telling that he had some yesterday, too.
At least it's funny that the "missing ones" are from shs only and at the start, the middle and the end it's working.
To test links from php-sites, I fetch the html-header, parse it and if it fails I use wget to test it, too. So I guess that's pretty bullet-proof.

@prowler: The Fixpack was made vor UB-BG1 V8. Not 9. So it's understandable that the patch gets rejected.
