Yoyoyo!

So I'm finally running a more or less stable install (only problem I get is assertion error at line 250 => clearing temp folder of stores while the game is running seems to remedy the issue), and I just cleared Durlag's Tower. Talked to Drizzt (there were two of'm, ctrl-y'd one), and then travelled to Ulgoth's Beard.

However! Upon re-entering Ulgoth's Beard, I noticed that Ike stood there. And that gnome with the unpronounceable name. And that mage whose cloak you've got to go search. All of that sparked my interest. So I travelled to BG again, and Marek and Lothander came up to me again.

Everything seems to have been reset somehow. I've no interest in ctrl-y'ing my way through all those quests again (as otherwise, I'd be even more overpowered than I am now).

Any suggestions?

Hmm, I dunno. Nothing too weird in your mod list. Maybe clearing out folders while the game is running isn't such a good idea . Though those folders should get cleared anyway one way or the other.

I'd have a look at the .sav file of one of your saved games. It should store areas etc that you've been to, but it sounds like you are getting the unvisited areas once more, which might mean your saves or installation are broken.
If you don't know what to do with the .sav file, I'm sure someone here would take a look if you were to attach or link to it.

Didn't you kill Marek during the first encounter??

And when you say everything's reset, what are the other things that have reset?? Is it just this encounter?
