Well, to shorten things up, he's a poster child for the dangerous guy with hidden depths and far more a challenge than a common brave hero.
And above that, there IS this thing about thayvvian males...

He's intelligent, he has this sexy accent, a completely adorable voice, he's megalomanic in a very cute way...

And he is not Anomen right? Maybe your attracted to him due to lack of options(interesting male NPCs)?

There's actually a lot of romanceable male NPC-mods (either done or in progress). And a few lesbian ones too...He's intelligent, he has this sexy accent, a completely adorable voice, he's megalomanic in a very cute way...

See the posts above. The brain. The funniness. The challenge. The sexy accent. The good looks (in BG1 pic at any rate). Ambition. Selectiveness. What do all the females see in Edwin? My sister even likes him when she plays BG2.

I just wondering how it wil begin, since, if I remember right, Edween is under the "Edweena" curse for a quit big part in the game .

I always, always play a male character... but I'd play a female and romance Ed just to see the results.

The dialogues will begin when Edwin is still male, and naturally he will have quite a lot to say about the Edwina thing. :edwin:I would romance Edween, if only to see how it will develope and (most intersting, considering his preety selfish personality) how it will end .

Happy to hear it! The SoA part is in final beta testing stage now, and the ToB part programming is already begun, so you hopefully won't have that long to wait.Edwin is one of my very favorite characters.

Everyone has a different taste. Some find Edwin's appearance and/or personality interesting and attractive. Others find him repulsive.Ok let's say for a second that women do like Edwin. Besides the sly charisma what's to like? He's not handsome, not by a long shot. Even Anomen, Haer' Dalis and Valygar got better looks than him... maybe if someone changed his picture. Cause I wouldn't wanna stare at that nose chain too long >.<
Now Keldorn i can understand, him being more of a "Sean Conery" type, but Edwin o.o
Personally I am looking forward to this Mod. I always found Edwin an interesting character for many reasons, and the romance will add even more deepness. A definate improvement. Grand job, eh?

How very true. Personally I find it a very peculiar notion that everybody should somehow have the same taste. Oh, and both Anomen, Haer'Dalis and Valygar have plenty of female fans who find them very attractive indeed, just as Edwin does. I find it rather amusing when people presume to tell others what they 'should' like, especially so when it's males trying to tell females off about their taste in male characters.
So, I'll say just one more time to 'Adahn' - yes, plenty of women *do* like Edwin. If you have a problem with that, too bad. You're simply going to have to live with it.

Thank you! I hope you will enjoy playing the mod when it's finished - hopefully relatively soon.

I think hte Edwin-liking thing is very divided, people either seem to love him or hate him, unlike other NPCs... to me, when I 1st played BG2 I was very dissapointed i could romance Anomen instead of Edwin

Tell me about it...I was quite disappointed that romancing Edwin wasn't an option. Well, fortunately it soon will be. The SoA part is in final testing stage, and I'm starting the ToB initial testing this week. And I agree, it seems that very few people are lukewarm about Edwin, which I consider a good trait in a character. No way! Edwin is the cutest!Ok let's say for a second that women do like Edwin. Intelligence. Sexy voice. Confidence and independence. That's more than vast majority of men can deliver.
He's not handsome, not by a long shot.
Actually, next to Sarevok he is the second hottest of the males (I imagine he looks like the BG1 pic). I don't go for Anomen's square-jawed hero type, Haer'Dalis is too feminine and Valygar is... okay, but he doesn't have Dat Thayvian Fire.
And then there's of course the tiny thingie that looks is not everything that matters. And that tastes differ. Don't be jealous, boys - women don't have uniform tastes.

I always use the BG1 picture myself - it's very simple to use Shadowkeeper to edit it in.BG1's Edwin portrait rocked.

Hey is it gang up on Adahn day or what? I was just stating my wittle opinion I'm all for the mod. And I'm also for the fact that every character should have a love life hehe ^^(). Wonder if there'll ever be a Sarevok romance though lol.Everyone has a different taste. Some find Edwin's appearance and/or personality interesting and attractive. I agreed that Edwin's BGI picture was a lot better, and it makes him look much youner and hanspellholdstudios.netdsome. I didn't mean to get the Edwin Female Fanclub angry at me
