The current fixes for Tales of Anegh mod can be taken out of the BWP Fixpack: The BWP Fixpack v.9.4.1 fixes for Tales of Anegh are included into the new version 2.1 that is now online. This should also fix the CtD that was reported and discussed here.

ToA -> the cutscene mentioned here should run properly now (also v2.1 gobbled up the english translation somehow if you consider reupping with the english tra's, please consider including this setup.tra )

However I neither know what is wrong with the tactics.tp2 nor can I use your patch because it is not created correctly. Please don't try to create any patches but post the new file instead. I will create the patches myself.

Guys, FYI - Dark Horizons 2.05 for BGT was released and it contains all BWP fixes and more.
The original discussion was here. There just was no any official announcement about version 2.05 for BGT (as I understand it is still 2.04 for Tutu).

But yea, it's seriously borked But the problem still exists in the v9.4.2 fixpack So without further ado ... MOAR IMAGES!!!
This is the BWPFicpack v9.4.2 tactics2 patch ... note the spaces between the ~~'s


And this is the original tactics.tp2 block that the above fixpack block checks for ... as you can see, the ~~'s are full of NULLs and the fixpack won't patch the .tp2 cause it can't find the block in the .patch

(The pics are taken in Notepad++ btw )

PS: Have you had a go at patching this?? (the first attachment in that post)

Thanks for pointing out the missing state checks in BG2 Gavin. It won't break anything as it stands, but it's now on the fix-it list for the mod. I'm probably going to be versioning up soon due to mod NPC inclusion in L1NPC, so I'll incorporate CRE, ITM and state check fixes then.

I agree that the Setup-Tactics.tp2.patch looks very strange, however, I think it is correct: The problem with the Tactics.tp2 file is, that it is not saved as a text file, but as a hexadecimal code instead.

If you compare the original Tactics.tp2 with the resulting one after applying the patch you will see it is correctly patched. This patch works for about two years and noone has ever reported any bug with it! However; I don't know why there are these NULLs at all. Maybe someone finds it worth enough to overhaul this tp2.

And yes, Leomar is out. But who knows what will be in future?

Well, I'll take your word for it but this is my experience

Running the BWPFixpack v9.4.2 on just Tactics v25 extracted in a clean folder gives this on the fixpack console:

I did try to convert the .tp2 to make WeiDU pad the NULLs ... guess its time to nudge the guys at PPG again ]

Anyway, I've also attached a master tactics.tp2 containing all the BWP fixes, the padding from the above link AND BPv180 compatibility changes along with a bonus README tag ... and to top it off, all the extra spaces at the end of each line are now GONE!!!

... and why am I making a big deal out of it?? I have no friggin idea ...
