[Lollorian]

A great li'l mod this one - Alcool (actually Alcohol ) translated to english.

A very unique mod ... No shops, no NPCs, just a cutscene, and a lengthy one at that. Starts just before you travel to Brynnlaw (your party decides to have a last night out in Amn) Includes lengthy banters by ALL Bioware NPCs, with the stars of the show being Korgan and Haer'Dalis. Mod won't start unless you have Korgan when you talk last to Aran Linvail (no Bodhi branch )

They should make more li'l pointless mods like this

Elven Mage with an interesting backstory. Loads of custom items and a very, very special (not to mention hilarious ) item that's got a description worthy of a new Total Conversion

The Bolsa mod seems to deal with Bags (cause bolsa==bagz!!! )

Except it just sells duplicates of existing bags, thus creating bugged versions. While it's at it, it overwrites the standard ammo belt (bag05) *and* its BAMs for no particular reason, since it doesn't appear to change anything about them. Why overwrite at all, but really, why overwrite pointlessly?

Also, Bolsa v3 contains an invalid script name (añado_bolsa.baf where the ñ got botched somehow). On top of that, the English translation appears to be in French .

Not sure where to report this other than here, since this mod doesn't appear to have its own thread, either here or on ClanDLAN. But anyhow, I wouldn't recommend using this with BWP (or anything else really). Not until someone fixes it anyhow (besides me - I'm kinda sick of fixing other people's mods ). If you must have it, put it very early with the rest of the evil overwriting mods.

Now the question is: do I want to go through the rest of these, or am I going to find the same kind of ugly bugs?

Well, Mersetek the Gem-Dealer has a Gem Bag

A bugged duplicate of bag02 (sigh - modder's have got to stop doing that) but since that's the only one, easy enough to fix in Unique Containers.

Darron has a Guarded Dimensional Chest spell thingy.

Not a traditional "container" of any sort (apparently summons a creature who invokes an empty store).

and finally, Mystigan has tons of containers (3 of each type)

I swear I reported that to Immortality on the day they were updated ... somehow they haven't been re-updated

besides me - I'm kinda sick of fixing other people's mods

But you're soooo good at that (besides, it also gives you reason to rant about the other mods )

Maybe Immortality can help report them to their authors ... so that they're ready (and not evil ) by the time BWP8.1 gets out

Well, it's my mistake... I sent the files to Immortality.

(Decompress this file in your game folder and execute setup-bolsa.exe to install).

And though I don't have the previous version, I fail to see how White Agnus supposedly revised the code. If he did, I'd've thought he'd've made it patching instead of overwriting, like he supposedly did for Dark Horizons (though that's still pretty buggy too apparently).

Ah the question of what to translate I decided a long time back to not translate NPC mods because I'm not a roleplaying guy (and lookin at the amount of thought that goes into creating an NPC, I'll be damned if I don't get the minor details like personality quirks and stuff right )

The ones I translated ... to put it bluntly, are One-Day NPC types (I'm sorry if this offends anyone )

Anyway, the real gems I wanted to help translate were Au Service Th'Oghma, Ascalon's Breager, Tales of Anegh and the Chronicles of Severian. In the process, I discovered Alcool was actually a pretty neat mod (I thought it was some kinda NPC ) ... But Tales of Anegh and Breager are being actively translated ... And Breager v5's due for release on Nov 5 last time i checked

Though it might help to know one of the source languages at least somewhat, rather than relying on Babel Fish or whatever .

I already have started translating Severian. Heavy stuff I must say, with lots of "poetic" description what is happening beyond what is visualized on screen, french word plays, ancient or specific terminology for weapons, clothes, etc., many sentences about the emotional state of the PC.

All smaller files have been translated. I can pm you a link where you can download them one by one.

As for the big file, it's done at 20-30%.
