Congrats on getting it out!

I'm glad someone was focused enough to make it work. I'm playing now... And loving it. Hugs for all!!

Likewise, any particular NPCs you'd recommend to have along?

There are banters for Aerie, Keldorn, Haer'Dalis, Imoen, Jaheira, Edwin, Viconia and Korgan...I think that's all of them. Oh, and a one-sided romance conflict with Anomen.

Will you add anything for Valygar in the next round of releases? Or will there not be a next release?

I will definitely want to put together a second version to clean up any typos and possible problems, though I foresee more typos than problems. :P I would also like to expand some of the ideas that I decided to put off (for the sake of not burning myself out), but I cannot confidently say that will get done soon. I blame Haer'Dalis.

Oh! Congratulation!
You can't imagine how much I waited a mod like this! (No... wait. Probably you can...  :) )
The whole romance is very nicely written - I especially loved the flirts and Keldorn.
I, too, was missing some more NPC reactions/interactions (No Minsc and Boo? And this doesn't remind Jan to anything? :crying: ) and romance conflicts, but I guess you were right not to burn yourself out. Nothing, is usually better than something forced.
Great work anyway! Thanks for making it!

Honestly, the banters that formed in my head for Jan were frightening. I do intent to expand the content in some areas, so feedback on what the players feel is missing is very welcome. ^_^ I just can't guarantee a time frame.

And thank you! I know that my interpretation will never satisfy everyone (that's sort of the bane of being a writer in any capacity), but as long as some people enjoy it, it was worth the effort.

I'd like to offer my congrats and thanks as well; I've been waiting a long time for such a mod! And so far (which is quite far, actually, since I was prettymuch glued to the computer yesterday), I'm very impressed. :D

I just finished it... (sigh) What an awesome, awesome mod. I just loved it.

Could we have some more Haer'Dalis and Sarevok please? I'll help if I can. (Oh, and extra helpings of Sarevok, please. 8) )

Right, I've finally pulled myself away from Fallout 3 and have slogged through SoA and am now in ToB. Loving it so far - it's very much in character.
Just wondered when LT8 should pop up. I'm in Amkethran now - just about to do Sendai and Abazigal.

Cheers, just so I know I'm on the right track. :)
I actually went ahead and played without Ascension (for the first time in over a year) so hopefully there will be no problems at all. It's working fine so far.

I am on my yearly play of BG2 and ToB but this time round I started with ToB as I wanted to be sure I'd find time to play the Sarevok romance. This is a thank you for such an appealing and delightful mod which adds so much more depth to the story of Sarevok.

I played a neutral good character and found the choices offered never once left me thinking that actually I didn't want to say any of that so I felt in character. His responses fitted my expectations of him and often made me smile, sometimes laugh out loud at the irony. I took Keldorn and Jaheira with me and I loved the conversation between <CHARNAME> and Keldorn regarding Sarevok. Again, so like the character I can see in Keldorn.

I respect your view about there being insufficient time for Sarevok to 'change' however, I disagree. I took the romance through Watcher's Keep as well so in fact it felt like we'd all spent rather a lot of time together and I've always been of the opinion that Sarevok's arrival at the PP was not entirely self-seeking in the usual sense. I detect curiosity about <CHARNAME> and some extensive thinking that has gone on *before* the events in ToB. But I found your 'ending' totally believable and thus my disagreement is minor in the great scheme of things!

Sarevok is not an easy romance to write though. Whatever my opinions of him outside the game and my view that redemption is possible, <CHARNAME> had plenty of room for grudges and tbh I had to respect them when I played her. But Sarevok won her over without her having to compromise her own beliefs or perhaps she won him over; it was never entirely clear to me if she started it or he did. They seem to arrive where they did naturally and with surprise yet at the same time a sense of the inevitable on both their parts. There are very sweet touches of the growing affection between them yet they seem almost unaware of the implications. That smacks of excellent writing to get that balance and so deftly and convincingly!

Thank you very much indeed for an excellent mod and one that I think fits well with ToB. It really is believable; it's funny, touching, ironic and sometimes very sad. I loved it!

Congrats on the mod!

I've been hoping someone would make a mod like this! :)

I haven't gotten far in the mod, but so far I love it!

But I have a question, but not sure where to post it, but when you ask Sarevok about his age, it's only a tiny thing, but at the end of that reply he says he is several years older then charname, even thou she is an elf and he is human. Was that on purpose or?

There's probably someone who could say this better than I can, but my understanding is that even if the PC is of a longer-lived race, they are still approximately 19 (brain's not functioning well today...it's somewhere between 18-21, I think ) years old at the start of the first game. There's no explanation for the inconsistency with the age of older races being skewed (aside from the obvious assumption that the game developers ignored it for the sake of making their lives easier), but perhaps Bhaal's 'essence' contains special growth hormones. :P (Considering Abazigail's full grown son Draconis, it wouldn't surprise me.) Every impression I have of the content in both games suggests that Sarevok was somewhat older than the PC, even if they are elven.

So, in short, yes it was intentional. ^_^

Wow.. I had no idea this mod even existed.
Any mod giving more light to Sarevok's character is well worth trying, and the praise I've seen just increased my expectations.

My congratulations. I'm going to try this mod as soon as possible.

Holy crap! :o You actually did it! Congratulations of the highest degree are in order. I remember way back early this year when that little topic popped up... And now look where it has gone. Time to whip out the good old ToB and give it a whirl! Great work to the entire team!
