It is a foreign film, German, but the dub is actually fairly good. I intend to watch it in German when I can get my hands on a copy.
What do other people think who have seen it?

I of course had the advantage of seeing it in German to start with, being German and living in Germany and all.
I can only recommend it.

I haven't seen it myself, so I can't add anything to the discussion.

It is the freaking WEIRDEST movie I have ever seen in my life.
The whole rewinding and going into different scenarios thing made my head hurt, and I never quite could tell what was going on. The film was well-made and the way it was filmed, along with the seamless integration of the animated and live action clips, was definitely something I could appreciate, but all and all, I couldn't get over the fact that that movie was freaking WEIRD.
Oh, and BTW, never saw the dub. Watched it in German with subtitles.

If a movies as straightforward as Lola makes you scream weird, I'd wonder what The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya would do you?
it was the first dvd i ever bought after having seen it in the theaters ... awesome movie and awesome concept. i actually had the soundtrack at one point as well.

yepp yepp great movie, though it has been years since i've watched it. as usuall, the original is usually way better than any dub (imo, to much gets lost by poor translation, though i always watch stuff in o-ton) and being german, i saw this movie in o-ton ;D very advisable, though i can't say much bout any dubs, since i didn't need any. n.n
