Well, did you talk to the book, as one of the dialog options give you the spell that you then have to cast and then you kit will change... and you talk to the book by putting it to the quick item slots and clicking it... or was it through the main inventory, right click on the item and then pushing the "Converse" bottom.Also there is supposed to be a spell in the book that could have the same effect ( allowing me to change to a spellshaper - nothing there, not even in shadowkeeper. ).

I was told that there is only a problem with BP AI (and the Resource Fixer acually is not the problem). The mod itself does not cause problems. In case of the book everything should be alright if one starts to talk with it etc.
