While that's good Quitch, on a project this big, it's still along way to go, and everyone here is hanging out for it.We're closer to the end than to the beginning.
As for the nick, I say we just use this :bash: It sums it up beautifully.

Reading is my hobby, so i dont care if i read a good story in a book, or in a game!
Hope you keep up your good work, and i wish you all well, so that the mod comes out without mayor bugs.
But I am one guy who will test your mod, I am enjoying the release(alpha/beta version of it).
With greetings from germany Katana

Hmm.. I guess there will be a serious change in the gameplay as well then. Before, BG2 was 30% dialogue/storyline + 70% action/battle. Judging from your numbers Quitch, this will change dramatically. That count is out of date. I'm told we're past 125 000 now
I hope it will have a good overall result.

Or is this perhaps a subtle method urging Quitch to put the mod out sooner?

Surely not - I wouldn't pick up an impossible cause.Or is this perhaps a subtle method urging Quitch to put the mod out sooner?

Dialogue done by the end of this year? Looking pretty likely.
I can almost taste the end.

It should definitely taste good since you/we keep tasting it for at least 1 year now...
I keep thinking I shouldn't post things like that, but it always seems so true at the time

There may be a slight delay in the release of this mod. It appears I am in the early stages of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, something which causes both pain and numbness in the forearm and hands. Since it doesn't appear to be too far advanced, I suspect I'll be ordered to take a break from typing and mouse work.
This will put me behind a bit in my typing, but I'll endeavour to catch up afterwards. Xyx might even overtake me (fat chance ).
Of course, by the time I get to see someone, my side of things might be done, but I consider this highly unlikely.
I find this highly annoying. Later we'll play a game when the mod is released and see if you can spot which dialogue was written before (good parties had options), and after (good parties throw themselves on their own swords, claw out their eyes, etc.)
Happily I can report that this appears to have been a false alarm. I have been checked over by two doctors, and it appears to be nothing more than poor posture combined with a lot of mouse/keyboard work. I have worked to improve my posture and it appears to be paying off, combined with the fact that I am currently decorating a house which limits my computer time anyway.

In short: to me, and to probably many others, this mod (when finished ) will be a fresh start to BG2 on many levels. I humbly thank everyone involved and sit down with anticipation for the comming year(s) of... anticipation.
I know that I've definatly learned the meaning of the saying (a swedish one, does it exist in english?) "when you're waiting for something good you can never wait too long." :thumb:

(btw, keep on getting disappointed by the new "RP" games out there, latest regurgitation: Beyond Divinity... sigh :help: )
