Progress report

I can only say that this mod has turned into something bigger than we intended... there are several sub-plots now, all of which involve dialogue and thought, where as there used to only be one which only had combat.
Not to mention that many mods fall by the way, while this mod is still moving on towards its goal.

The only thing I can adwise is that try not to fall in the obvious trap where you'll start to add more and more additional components to the (otherwise complete) mod, and finally wake up to the fact that there is no one left who remebers BG2 anymore...

(just bought the new one, eheheh... yes, *bought*)
@TGM: what’s wrong with “over 60” BG2ing??? If Irons still play the best quality metal at 50...
salvage a last horizon...but no regrets from me...
Ever forward, my darling wind...

You'd need to talk to Cuv "I just made a new area" verthingy about that.Your words are wise and true Quitch, so continue on this work.

Yep... you are right about that. I am trying to stay away from my updates until the rest of the guys catch up because I keep coming up with new ideas to add. You'd need to talk to Cuv "I just made a new area" verthingy about that.Your words are wise and true Quitch, so continue on this work.

Still working on the normal bug fixes and improving the texture and auxillary maps. The monsters are pretty much done, awaiting Xyx's scripting. Working on monster placement too at the moment... which is where I get sidetracked on new scenarios:) But I am holding myself back best I can:)

By the way, what is the expected time needed to finish this mod first run through?

Of course, there is no problem at all. I can fully understand your feelings, but the only thing that can help here is patience .I'm sorry if my earlier post seemed like an attack, it definitely wasn't supposed to come out like one. It's just that I have been eagerly awaiting this mod for what seems like ages

IIRC, it used to be 6-7 hours. I expect it's a fair bit longer now, but we haven't checked for some time... too much being put in place to properly test.I'm sorry if my earlier post seemed like an attack, it definitely wasn't supposed to come out like one. It's just that I have been eagerly awaiting this mod for what seems like ages, so I hope you can understand my disappointment at the continual setbacks of this mod. There is one think I can be thankful of, and that is that I do know it will be released sometime this year - long live BG2!
By the way, what is the expected time needed to finish this mod first run through?

Still, not wanting to be annoying, but how close are you to releasing it? Which side of Christmas are we looking forward to?

I'm counting on it, though death becomes a factor sooner than later...Good things come to those who wait.
