Well, the 3 spells I mentioned above, seem to work sometimes in different areas. My solution, I think is to use CLUAConsole to insert those 3 types of elemental into the game and artificially click off the spells in my spell-book to simulate their casting. I suppose I can get them to attack as well.

My new problem which f*cks up my game is that the cloak of the sewers item found in the sewers beneath the Temple District, which I've always worn in the past, is now heavily bugged. I got Viconia to try the troll form provided by the claok, but when I reverted back to human form, there were some odd paws left in my weapons-slots(not any of the paws sported when in troll, rat or jelly form, though). I tried dispel magic to get rid of them, but the effect of that was only temporary. Trying polymorph other to a squirrel shape and then using dispel magic also failed. The only thing that worked was killing Viconia via ctrl+Y and then resurrecting her. Trouble is, I believe that f*cks up the Viconia Romance. I suppose there is a ViconiaRomanceActive command I can set to 0? If it's another global command, please tell me which one it is. Thanks.

Another bug, by the way:- I was supposed to get the Unseeing Eye beholder down to 1 hit-point or whatever with the Rift Device but no matter how many times I pressed it, it failed to activate. I eventually subdued the beholder by standard means(it basically just sat around doing nothing much, for some strange reason).

Other issue:- I recall some mention(froma year or more ago) that when using the Tortured Souls mod, that one couldn't do the major quest just before Spellhold with Yoshimo/Kachiko UNLESS one had Yoshimo in one's party from the moment the party met with Bodhi up till the moment the party left for Spellhold. I had thought that I could get away with simply doing virtually all the pre-Spellhold quests with my standard 6-member party(minus Yoshimo/Kachiko) and then meeting Bodhi and doing her 3 quests right at the end before going to Spellhold. Unfortunately, in-game I noticed that there was some mention in the BG2 walkthrough that Bodhi only stays in the graveyard at night for a short period so that I have to meet with her soon or the option of doing her 3 quests is gone and I have to side with the Shadow Thieves(I would like to do the Bodhi component of the RE mod, so I want to avoid that. Any suggestions? Perhaps I could activate the Bodhi 3 quests by using some CLUAConsole;CreateCreature() - I have noticed that there are multiple versions of Bodhi within Shadowkeeper , so that presumably 1of those could get round this issue and start the 3 bodhi quests. Any ideas welcome.

Checked an earlier thread which stated that the yoshimo/kachiko Bodhi issue had been fixed, after all.

Yet another problem:- I joined with Bodhi, then as soon as I went into the docks district, my Bhaalspawn PC was kidnapped and beaten by the shadow thieves. Now, I appear to have some sort of spirit guide in the place of my Bhaalspawn which cna do nothing as all inventory slots are occupied with a red cross. Now, according to that 1 scroll in 1 slot, I have to find the Bhaalspawn. I duly thought of entering the thives main guildhall(where renal lives) and tried to go up the stairs - instead of allowing me up the stairs, a message-appeared in-game saying that I mustn't go up the stairts but that some NPC character had told me to go to the floor below the thieves' guild first floor. Trouble is, even thought I got the relevant key from 1 of the corpses, i simply cannot find the entrance/ladder to the lower floor where the Bhaalspawn is being presumably kept. I tried a secret passage far to the right of the entrance into the thieves' guild, but it won't open being subject to a magical locking process(same goes for any doors on the outside of the thieves' guild further away). I'm at my wit's end. Can anyone tell me where I can find the way to the lower floor of the thives' guild? Thanks

Check the Bodies, huh? You tried all three possible vanilla game entrances? The door on the ground floor in the thieves guild, the outside entrance and the secret outside entrance near the guard tower.

Thanks. I had a vague hunch yestersay and found the mention of the captured quest on the CTB quest list in my install and duly found an older spellhold studios thread a few minutes ago which gave the item-code for the key and the correct location for going into the lower floor(northeast in the docks, i think). Didn't get parisa and cluaing her in didn't work, but I can always clua in the key.

OK, I solved the datpured quest dilemma of CTB by refusing to fight and then changing a global value to 10 to allow Mook etc. to appear.

I now have another game-breaking bug I'd really appreciate some help with. I went to the Umar Hills where everything went smoothly until immediately after I arrived at the Temple Ruins. As soon as I arrived in that area, my game stalled for a few seconds. Then it went Ok for a few seconds more while that Llellyn character went and died. A second or two after that the game would freeze permanently(sometimes unfreezing for a few seconds again, before freezing permanently thereafter). Is there anything you can think of which would solve this problem. I've been in other areas before and, other than an occasional slight freeze for a split-second, everything was fine(my PC isn't the highest quality but gigahertz, ram etc is very high, such as 4gb ram). The only comparable issue was when I was given the chance of meeting up with some orc army, where the huge number of orcs froze the game a second here and there. Any suggestions welcome. I really don't want to have to reinstall and play the blasted game all over again, but without being able to play some basic game elements such as the Umar Ruins quest, my game is more or less ruined.

So either editing that weapon-item of clfwlf or whatever should work as long as it's done before the inn. Alternatively simply killing Moxen before his quest proposal might work. I'll try the latter and do the former as a last resort. I easily understand shadowkeeper but NI, dltcep and other teambg software are seemingly impossible to work out. Anyway, thanks a lot, you've saved me having to uninstall the game and start all over again and it took a full month the last time to work out what I thought was the best possible BWP install.

Go to Leomar's post(second from the bottom), download the attached file and then put the unzipped file into your override. That should correct the problem if you have not gotten the quest yet.

FAQ for the Megamods. :P

Umm Jarno, that doesn't really help in this case since it is a bug and not just the computer acting slow.

Well,I fixed the problem by editing that clfwlf via shadowkeeper, re removing that 2nd paw. A subsequent trial found no lag/ctd at all when I entered the temple ruins area after that. Thanks a lot for the info, I'm just glad that this was previously experienced by others and not a unique bug.

OK, I solved a quite different bug and in the process created another problem. I had found that Bodhi didn't appear when I wehnt to the graveyard at night as instructed(apparently, she only waits a day or two, I think I waited 3days before going, max). Anyway, I realised after failing to get bodhi to talk via using cluaconsole:createcreature() that I needed to conjure up Valen outside the copper coronet for Bodhi to appear afterwards. The code "anast" was the right valen code and I was able to see Bodhi and get hwer quests. The catch is now that I can't do the thieves' stronghold quest(I've installed the multiple stronghold quest component) as renal's thieves now attack me when I go into the building(I've already done the captured quest of CTB). Anyway, can anyone please tell me what the global command is for setting renal bloodscalp back to the beginning so that I can complete the theives's tronghold quest without having thieves attacking me everywhere? Cheers.

You can't work for Bodhi and Renal at the same time or work for Renal and then Bodhi or vice versa.

Surely, it's possible via global commands? I mean the bodhi quests only start with valen appearing at the copper coronet etc. so just setting global values should reset everything.

Well, I've also asked the romantic nocunters forum re this bodhi romance issue.

I've now encountered a 2nd bug, with Renal and his thieves going hostile soon after he tells me to go and kill Maevar. An older thread on this forum fortunately mentioned having the same problem(including a previous bug I had with some of the copper coronet guards turning hostile for no reason):-

Well, it seems that I can't get Bodhi to do a lovetalk as that requires doing all her quests, no chance of a global command/value achieving that. I suppose I'll have to go back and reload an earlier save and try that just to see what happens.

The problem with new spells causing CTDs is now spreading to other spells like flesh to stone. All current spells affected have only been temporarily affected only in certain areas but are fine elsewhere, and the spells affected have all been ones which are either completely new mod-added ones or have been altered by the spell revisions forum among others(my flesh to stone spell is an altered one giving -6 to savings-throws).

Current bug:- Mekrath always turns hostile a couple of seconds after I get that imp/mirror quest from him. I solved that bug by using ctrl j to get my party out fast enough before he went red. I then finished the mirror/imp quest and got a very fast PC(boots of speeding) to talk to him before he turned red, so he then left as usual.

I've come across yet another problem this time in the 1st level of the Umar Temple Ruins area. After killing the jailor and going to the room with the light-gem in it, the game slows down to a stop, I have limited control in that I can pause the game but I can't play properly as the game is virtually at a stand-still from my POV(the hostile shadows still manage to hit me though). Anybody have any suggestions?

I also have a more minor bug:- The non-party NPCs who talk about me in the 3rd person refer to my Bhaalspawn PC as a female when he is of course male(Viconia seems to view me as male in the romance, though). I did get a sex-change wild surge effect a while back which I removed by getting rid of "sexchange 0" from the affects section of shadowkeeper so that I non longer had that but maybe I should have done something else as well?

I'll check some of the things mentioned in the megamod faq. There may be a few ways I can improve things.
