Apparently. I'm only getting my CE copy next week, so I guess I avoided dealing with this mess as well.Lots of crash bugs, huh? Makes me glad my copy has been delayed, somewhat.

The beginning can have a rather boring start but once you get going and finding out the different variety of factions things get alot more interesting. I enjoyed the number of options to choose when you finally find the guy who shot you.
There's also a great number of options when using skills or perks in some conversations.
It is great having Rex for company and the other companions if you find them.

Also, you obviously have too much free time.

Erm well I'm actually not very well at the moment so my medicine is gaming.
My favourite weapon so far is the Gauss Rifle. (don't worry no spoiler in linky) The explosion actually reminds me of the Plasma Gun from lost planet 2.

So you liked it, Darziak? How does it compare to FO3?

Sound is good and the voice acting is much better which you can hardly tell if an npc has a same voice as some other npc.
Gameplay is pretty much the same with some improvements though the bugs can be bothersome if unlucky.
Modding the weapons is a plus.
Companions are better this time, npc's recognise your followers (what a strange dog).
The actual New Vegas area is just wow, I can somtimes feel a sence of realness.
The choice of weapons compared to before are more vast.
I guess I could go on but overall this is a good game, I don't feel the same buzz from playing Fallout 3 but it's still a great game to play.

DLC Announced ... for Xbox 360 only!
Limiting DLC to one system isn't what I would think to be a good idea.

Honest Hearts, Old World Blues, and Lonesome Road @ Beth Blog
Available on May 17, Honest Hearts takes you on an expedition to the unspoiled wilderness of Utah?s Zion National Park. Things go horribly wrong when your caravan is ambushed by a tribal raiding band. As you try to find a way back to the Mojave, you become embroiled in a war between tribes and a conflict between a New Canaanite missionary and the mysterious Burned Man. The decisions you make will determine the fate of Zion.
In Old World Blues, releasing in June, you will discover how some of the Mojave?s mutated monsters came to be when you unwittingly become a lab rat in a science experiment gone awry. You?ll need to scour the Pre-War research centers of the Big Empty in search of technology to turn the tables on your kidnappers or join forces with them against an even greater threat.
Lonesome Road, available in July, brings the courier?s story full circle when you are contacted by the original Courier Six, a man by the name of Ulysses who refused to deliver the Platinum Chip at the start of New Vegas. In his transmission, Ulysses promises the answer as to why, but only if you take one last job ?a job that leads you into the depths of the hurricane-swept canyons of the Divide, a landscape torn apart by earthquakes and violent storms. The road to the Divide is a long and treacherous one, and of the few to ever walk the road, none have ever returned.

Seriously though, it's unlikely I'll get any of them. I haven't got Dead Money yet and I've already done my four playthroughs long ago. I don't see it as worthwhile at this stage.

I'm intrigued by Lonesome Road, mind you.
