Anyone else getting this? only when the spell strikes an enemy or one of my npcs with environmental audio on, I get a ear shattering abnormal loud spell sound effect

Yep, this happened on my last BWP install from December. Can't remember where it happened exactly, but there would be a really loud Bzzzzz noise that would just continue blasting. I was not pleased... It happened a few times so I would shut the sound off on the computer till I left the area. Pretty sure it was in the BG2 part of the game. Haven't encountered it so far in my new install but I'm still in BG1.
