If you did, get acm2wav and listen to NeJ2\GUImusic\combo1a.acm, I think that's the music you mean.
And you can restore it by overwriting the new one in the bg2\music-folder with the original files from the bg2\NEJ2\backup-folder.

And if you do have NeJ installed, then that means you chose an Expert install, which is bound to be buggy (as for why that happens or what the BWP Standard/Tactic/Expert actually mean, look at Jarno Mikkola's signature 2 posts above )

@Bomimo: You should really post your WeiDU.log for the guys here to know what you have installed

well, i got so enfuriated that i deleted it all. i haven't got NEJ installed. infact, the only quest related mods i use are unfinished bussiness 1 and 2 and Tower of Deception. i'll see if i can get off school for a few weeks to attempt a manual install, but thanks for the advice.

i have no idea about the "undefined strings" they're confusing me too, may be Win 7.Hmmm, any idea when you got said music to play in the game?? (what's with the unidentified strings stuff btw?? )
the music started at Gorions death. i thought. oh well, awesome music. but i liked the old better.
then the after the chapter 1 text. the elven theme from LoTR starts playing and i'm like WHAT!!!? get that out of my game!.
so, LoTR elven theme at Lions Way.

Well, there is only few areas that are totally revealed, and they should all be outside areas, so woods and dungeons all should be unrevealed. And no, you can't select it not to be revealed really, as there are several mods that do it, unless you wish to study all the game scripts and thus know which mods install such features.1-Its possible play now BG1 with the worldmap default like black fog and not all explored; for now its possible only with BG2 and BG2ToB;
Erhm, are you talking about the BG1+TotSC, you need to uninstall that with the normal Windows Install Shield uninstall procedure(from the Control Panel, and then delete the install folder), as it would otherwise leave register entry to your computer.2- I used clean.bat to delete unused stuff and get back some HDisk space but i want delete b my own the folders that BGS extracted to install. Can i do it for my own, its there here linked some tool to remove them or i cant remove ?

They come from mods that have been installed with a WeiDU.exe that's higher version than the one in use in the latest mods... meaning that the WeiDU.exe auto-update has failed there. To Prevent this, you need to run one of the WeiDU.exe's that has been renamed as: setup-*modname*.exe . Then as it updates them, you need to search the game folders file sizes, if all the setup-*modname*.exe are the same size you can proceed to install the BiG World Install.bat, if they don't, you need to do a manually update, answer #1 here for more info on the subject.i have no idea about the "undefined strings" they're confusing me too, may be Win 7.
This error partially comes from the installation been done with .bat, as it can skip the auto install run, and the BWS tries to correct the behavior by it's own auto update but few of the file names aren't formed correctly for it to recognize them, so it fails to update them.
Sorry for the double post, I meant to edit...

Any idea on the specifics? What monster(creature name and where), what weapon is used etc., at which phase(just after you command the movement, when your character starts the hit movement or when the hit lands)? Describe the situation to the best of your abilities! So we can be really specific and we don't havesometimes after resting in some areas I get ambushed by monsters ok.. but "sigh" when I attack them the game crash... (not always) is there any fix for this?
Well, you can remove mod components after the Setup has done it's work and starts the 'BiG World Install.bat' that installs everything... at which point it asks the Language again, you need to exit the window with the X and open the file with Notepad and edit/delete the components numbers on the right line so they are not installed, more info on the .bat files. And yes, the BWP team is trying to make the BWS able to install any number of independently choosable components so the player has the final choice, the test beta is already out, but it doesn't have all the things it needs to be fully functional... perhaps when the v9 or the v11 comes out it will. Here is somewhat thorough list of the component numbers, although it a bit old as the site hasn't been updated for sometime, as the community has been lazy to cooperate, me included.I don't know if this is a dumb question but I can't find the answer anywhere. Is it possible to install only parts of certain mods? For example, I don't really want to install every single thing from BG2Tweaks, but with Big World Project it just automatically does that which is kind of a pain...

Like what?
I need to have a look at some missing dependencies within the mods.
The mods/component-queue needs to be updated from 8.2 to 8.3.
I need to think about a good update-mechanism for the component-stuff
What else do you think needs to be done?
Here is somewhat thorough list of the component numbers, although it a bit old as the site hasn't been updated for sometime, as the community has been lazy to cooperate, me included.
Why would you use that when the current PDF has a current list of components?

Currently, I perform an install of BWP 8.3 and after downloading with BWS 8.3 all the mods for "Tactic", restarting BiG World Setup.vbs this picture appears...anybody saw the same?
When I select to install between an white and orange raw nothing happens, the option is still there (just refreshes the list).

That is an update-notification. You were asked (well, I don't know when - in a bad case, it was shown in an empty window since the translations were missing) how to handle updates and you selected to be notified.
You can see that it is an update when hovering over the icon.
Click it, make an update from 8.2 to 8.3 and these errors should disappear.

Thanx a lot !
I made the update before that (in the window selecting the compilation "Tactic"), because in the list view the update button wasn't making any update.

Open the file BiG World Setup\Config\Setup.ini and replace all the 4s with 1s in the the [Order]-section.
[Order] Au3Detect=1 Au3BuildGui=1 Au3Select=1 Au3GetVal=1 Au3CleanInst=1 Au3PrepInst=1 Au3Net=1 Au3NetTest=1 Au3NetFix=1 Au3Extract=1 Au3ExFix=1 Au3ExTest=1 Au3RunFix=1 Au3RunBare=1 Au3Exit=1
The fault has been fixed in the update-package.
