Created a cool Bounty Hunter with the following stats:

STR 16
DEX 18
CON 15
INT 18
WIS 16
CHA 15

At level 7 I dual classed the character into a mage. My bounty hunter had the following thieving skills just before I dual classed him:
Locks: 25
Traps: 10
Pockets: 25
Move: 40
Hide: 75
Detect: 0
Set traps: 100

When my mage reaches level 8 and the thief class becomes active again, his skills turn to:
Locks: 30
Traps: 15
Pockets: 30
Move: 25
Hide: 20
Detect: 0
Set traps: 25

WHAT THE F#%$ IS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN??!?! I spent a week playing this stupid game and for what??? Does someone realize how I feel?
And you know why that happened? I increased dexterity with the help of the Book of Dexterity while my char's thief class was still inactive. And that action made the skill points reset. That's one annoying bug.

Soemone's arse should be kicked for that one.

Yeah, already downloaded that. But that's still a bug. Possible to be fixed? I think it is a core bug, not associated with WeiDU, am I right?

As for editing skills with Shadow Keeper. What would be honest: should I just restore the original skill points or will it meet with ADnD rules if I take into consideration that I have 19 of dexterity right now and add those extra points as well?

Well, the shadowkeeper counts the amount without the dexterity modifiers or racial bonuses at the number, so the honest number is 15+25/level; so that's 190 for a normal thief. But as you have Bounty Hunter, that's 155. If you need to make sure, you can always make another BH, and check the thieving skill stats from them by the way...

You might be referring to BioWare here. Could you post the textual contents of your WeiDU.log file.
You could also use NearInfinity to fix things up.

You meant the NearInfinity with updated Java memories, gained from here. As the original NI can only change exactly 3 files, before it's can't open anymore of them...

Thief stats reset is a BG2 bug. I've noticed it from time to time. Either use a tool to fix this, or use multiclass char :) Use Any Item for a Mage/Thief isn't bad after all :)
