And I thought everything went perfectly, I installed everything as said in the .pdf guide in BWP, but damn, my game just crashed in High Hedge with this error.

Any workaround? Somehow remove the thing that causes it ? Or just go through another 2 days of re-installing? :)

New problem, I was on my way finishing ch4 and by the time I got to go to BG(city) and clean some areas throughout the Sword Coast, the game started to lag real hard, mouse lags, movements lags, and following jakko's instructions didn't help much as I figured it had nothing to do with it because the game was running flawless at the start-mid way through.

Anyway, here I am, trying to start over, pick some mods I oversaw last time and finish my manual install the way I wanted. But, when I launched BWfix to re-patch some of the mods it didn't patch the first time, Weidu ran for about an hour and I started to think it got stuck somewhere, eh. So, is this normal or something unexpected happened ?

I ran in to the exact problem, so I was eager to install the shield fixer. But when I run the setup I get a fatal error in the setup..
The program says: Please run the this program in your infinite Engine game directory.. I have tried almost everything and every folder to work around this ?fatal error? ? but in vain. Can you help further?

Well yeah, you just needed to extract that .rar file with WinRAR, and then move the gained files to your game directory, before you ran the setup-shield_fix.exe file... easy as a pie.
