I have had Coran equip the boots of phasing (F_JMPBOO.itm) that were from Drizzt saga or Planar sphere mod. They basically phase your character right nest to the enemy until they are all dead (like a phase spider). Just thought I would try them out. Problem is the script they run (F_BOOTJM.bcs) refuses to stop running even when there are no enemies (when there are enemies he transports next to them but won't attack). Now he has the stutter bug and stops moving after taking a few steps.
Also, he stops detecting traps, shooting arrows, etc. no matter what AI script I use for him, or if the AI tab is on or off. Basically he is useless now. How can I remove this effect. In NI I saw what script the item uses - the Race script. In shadowkeeper I couldn't find any option to change it, and I don't know how to use NI to remove it either.
Scripts conflicting

There are very similar boots in BG2 resources - boot08, which do the phasing trick without resorting to scripts. So, you can either clua boot08 in and use them instead, or load both items in NI or DLTCEP and compare them.
Hopefully, that script doesn't do anything but phasing, least it can screw some quest. Likely not, though.

Thanks. They seemed like they were worth a try, but it can be annoying when a weaker character gets warped to the front line (and just sits there). Any idea how to remove that "Race script" (that's the culprit) with NearInfinity or SK to make Coran run normally again? Or am I better of cluaing another Coran.

I remember you too
As I understand, that said script is still active on the character, despite boots being already put off? If that's the case, then removing it with NI:
1) open the save (.gam) and double click at the field with required party member
2) in new window 2-click the last field (cre)
3) scroll down, you'll soon see a long list of sound references, then char's stats and scripts
4) click the 'race script' and in below type 'none', then click the 'update value'
5) save (main NI's window)

Thanks Genie, it worked fine after doing that. Also, after some checking found out the stutter bug with Coran was caused by the Judge and Jury bow (it has 100% missile resistance) from TDD. I think the bow was trying to cast a spell or something that wasn't there in the game, luckily just had to get rid of the bow without any editing with NI.
