Many thanks to the translators for making this traified version possible. If anyone cares to have translations added in additional languages please see the Vault/Language/English/Setup.tra & Vault_Trans_Pack_Rev1.rar which contains all files that need translation.

 I am not able to download the file, I am instead redirected to the generic downloads page instead of The Vault's file download page. I cannot find The Vault version 7 anywhere on the website to download. Does anyone have a .zip file of the most recent version of The Vault?

Oh okay, well that is interesting. I suppose there is a future project goal right there; The Vault for Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition. Huh I must have played Tutu back in the day before Enhanced Edition with the Vault then hmmn. Well! It would not be the first time my memory had a bit of er, 'amnesia' haha:-P.

Is there a way to make the installation skip the touching of Taerom? I would like to avoid to have two different people upgrading the same items with different results.

The thing is... the part of Taerom upgrading items clashes conceptually with Thalantyr Item upgrade. Anyone has any suggestion on how to avoid installing Taerom part?

Okay, 
for the people that would like to skip the installation of Serpents of Abattoir (a questline that was never completed, sadly) you can skip it installing.

If you look at the tp2, there is a section that is called "10. Die Schlangen Abbathors Teil I". If you put /* in front of it and */ right before the next section starts, the content of the Snakes of Abbathors should not be included in your game.

This would be for Ascalon's Questpack.

I've seen this Vault mod in a variety of places, but in a low spoiler fashion, what's it about?  How is it triggered?

Well, in a LSF, Vault is several quests added by it's author Josh Clue ( which original version for old BG:TotSC I'm playing right now). There is quest which begins in Vestibule ( available either in chapter 3 or 4 I forgot), then Gullykin  after you shed some light on troubles that plague small folk, very long quest which begins after you are supposed to return in Candlekeep after you uncover conspiracy of Iron Throne in city of BG and some mystery involving Ulcaster whose solution would elude Sherlock Holmes and Hercule Poirot combined without LFS.   Oh, there are several other things, like tougher Ulcaster dungeon and  couple of surprise encounters as well as some seriously buffed individuals and monsters (from their vanilla versions). All in all, if you are looking for serious tactical challenge this is your mod as encounters are pretty tough for average BG 1 party ( even more so for original BG:TotSC ).

Hello and welcome. I wanted to ask about the sequence of actions after the book that was supposed to allow me to enter Candlekeep was stolen in Chapter 6. 

I was in Candlekeep right after the book was stolen, after that I visited the Friendly Arm Inn, Beregost, Nashkel one by one - there were no new NPCs there to start the quest to retrieve the book. In what order should I visit the locations and who should I look for? I don't want to assume right away that I have a bug in the mod, I assume that maybe I missed something or missed something.

 

Oh, and I will add that it is the Vault v8.1 version for BGEE Trilogy.

Might someone point me to the right direction of the vault? Have regained the book, talked to a certain ghost, smith and priest. But the last one gave me a hint I can't decipher for the death of me. Walked my heels off up and down the Sword Coast but have no clue.

Found it. Talking to the fortune teller in the midst of Baldurs Gate helped a lot. He gave precise directions. Just like you!
