Seriously though, I do know how much work it must take to pick up the art so late in your life, uh, not that I'm saying you're old. After all, what would that make me? It's just (I put my hand on her shoulder and look her in the eye) I am proud of how well you've done at it in so short a time. I don't think I could have done it.(my fingers carefully unclasp her Amulet of Power and pocket it before I start walking away.) Then again, maybe I just love my job too much.

Okay, bored of happy "good ol' days" Imoen now. Time for a change.

Both yourself and Imoen have been ambushed, captured, and imprisoned. You have been stripped of everything, and Imoen has been badly wounded.

Imoen: (lying in your arms, Imoen coughs blood across your naked body) Ya know... I'm sorry [first person to reply]. I guess I can't follow in your shadow anymore (her grin reveals several teeth missing, while another one seems worryingly loose). I wonder... do you think I'll turn to dust when I... when I die? (another bout of coughing leaves a stream of blood down her front). I don't want to help that... that mean ol' Bhaal rise up.

Derrain (M):

Imoen, please... you have to hang on. Do you hear me? You *have* to! (Trying to hold back the tears.)

I... I think I might be able to break us out if... if I transform into the slayer. I should be able to break through the door then... But I *need* to know you'll still be here, still with me... or I don't know if I'll be able to control it well enough to change back! *Promise* me you'll hold on!

Imoen: I... I don't think I can, Solar. (another bout of coughing renders her helpless for a time) I can't feel the magics anymore. Please... help... he showed me death, and I'm so scared. I... so cold...

Imoen: (looking over your shoulder, Imoen's eyes widen, and she begins to writhe violently in your arms) No! No! Don't let *him* take it! Not my soul! So empty... please, no! I don't understand! Please, it hurts so much...

(Fighting the instinct to rapidly turn around to see what has her upset.) Imoen? I'm right here. Tell me, what do you see? You're coughing up blood... I don't know that it's safe to move you enough for me to turn around.

Imoen: (Using what must be her last reserves of strength, Imoen manages to grapple onto you. You feel her nails cutting into your skin, drawing blood. As she holds tight, her breathing eases for a moment, and you find yourself unable to tell if she is calm or unconscious.)

I think you guys need to master actions. Would you really just let Imoen lie there in your arms? Is no one going to squeese her hand reassuringly, give her a slap (to snap her out of it of course ), or try to check where she's bleeding (if external)?

Let's try something else...

Imoen: (Looking down on the body of Sarevok, Imoen gives a sigh of relief) I... I guess that's it then (first person to reply). Do you think we can go back to Candlekeep now? (she seems to groan inwardly) Oh no! I forgot to clean the rooms for Puffguts before I left! (appearing horrified for a moment, she quickly grins you way, the battle just moments before seemingly forgotten)

[Jinnai]

"Heh. Its a wonder you ever found anything in there. Looked more like a cyclone had picked your room to single out for eternity." Jinnai chuckles softly as the comment before he gets serious.

"I don't know if we should go back. I mean as much as its home, would it really be the same? Would we bring more trouble to the town by going back there? I don't know, perhaps one day, but I personally don't feel ready."

Grinning, Jinnai picks up a lose stone and tosses it aside, "Well besides, there's more out there to explore. I might want to cross over to the lands beyond to the east...places few here have been and to the south as well. I even hear rumors of lands to the west beyond the endless ocean...can you image that? Maybe then I'll be ready to come back."

[Quitch]

Imoen: "Heh, I don't know Jinnai. After all this travelling, I think I'm ready for a rest... but you know I'll stick by you no matter what, we don't have a home now after all." Looking around, surprise occupies her face. "Where... where is his body, Jinnai? We killed him, didn't we? I know we did, I saw him die. It is over... isn't it?"

[Jinnai]

Looking around quickly, Jinnai sadly shakes his head, "I hope so, but I don't know. I don't want to give you false hope, but I don't want you to worry either." Jinnai sighs as he looks at Imoen's face, "Atleast, it appears for now its over, so we can relax a bit."

[Quitch]

Imoen: Relax? I've almost forgotten what that feels like. Heh, I can see a tick developing on your face already. (she slowly walks up to you, and begins to poke at your face)
