After dealing with Sarevok, i returned to Duchal Palace to report back Belt. When he asks me to teleport i told him i am not ready (i have expansions to attend to ) but there is no way to leave that room. No out, no up, no down. I CLUAed my party out of it. But, is it a meant to be?

I'm not 100% sure (that's ok, Jarno will come and comment if I'm wrong. And even if I'm right!)...BUT I think you should not talk to Belt until you're ready to leave BG1 for good; save speaking to him to the very last time.After dealing with Sarevok, i returned to Duchal Palace to report back Belt. Hopefully you have a saved game before entering the Duchal Palace...
