I cant find any component 20 to remove from the Install.Bat, and from your earlier post I am thinking you are referring once again too "BiG World Project v5.6 Install.bat" that I need to edit. Am I the only one who is missing something here?

I ve made a new install (in fact tried twice clean from the start to be sure of the results) according to all the instructions given at the first post of this topic. see WeiDU.log attached.
I ve loaded my save game from previous Big World install (I dont have a WeiDU.log for that install which is why i needed a new install) and i have 2 major problems now:
1- Character sounds are incorrect. Ajantis speak like some girl, Imoen mixed with some dwarf, heaing Jaheria around who is not in party. Branwen has no sound at all, etc.
2- World Map has journal entries, item descriptions, and some other texts instead of place name's. Besides, some names are incorrect like Gorion's Rest as you can see in the attached screenshot for better understanding. (World Map 1.71 without SCSII fix. Also tried with fix though, no error message but the same problem)
Below are "error, warning, file not found, path not found" entries from Big World Debug.txt
Help me out please?

You need to start a new game, as you edited the dialog.tlk after you started the last game so your savegame's references are messed up, sorry.I've loaded my save game from previous Big World install (I dont have a WeiDU.log for that install which is why i needed a new install) and i have 2 major problems now:
Well, perhaps that the mods original name is just UB, as it was released far before Unfinished Business for BG1"Mike1072 reported an incompatibility between components of "Unfinished Business for BG2" and "Item Revisions". If you want to install both mods, you should delete the component 20 of "Unfinished Business for BG2" in the install.bat."
I cant find any component 20 to remove from the Install.Bat, and from your earlier post I am thinking you are referring once again too "BiG World Project v5.6 Install.bat" that I need to edit. Am I the only one who is missing something here?
And at least my .bat(BiG World Install v5.6.bat) does have it(the number Twenty=20):
%IFES%UB%S%UB%L%0%SK% 0 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 15 16 17 19 20 21 24 | %M%
%IFGS%UB%S%UB%L%3%SK% 0 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 15 16 17 19 20 21 24 | %M%
So you just needs to edit it out, so it looks like this, and save:
%IFES%UB%S%UB%L%0%SK% 0 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 15 16 17 19 21 24 | %M% %IFGS%UB%S%UB%L%3%SK% 0 2 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 15 16 17 19 21 24 | %M%

wow, that is bad news
Started a new game and things seem ok. Very bad news.
I can't go through the same install my saved games belong to. I decided to start a new game with 60 AI updates per sec, import my character and cheat my way to chapter 6 where i belong to. Then use shadowkeeper to edit everything to fit my poor old save. Any suggestions to speed up the process is welcome.
The question is: Was the above install successfull at all? What about the "warnings, errors" i get that are not mentioned in the guide. Again any suggestions are welcome including/excluding components. Because, i might go for another last clean install which takes only 2 and half hours no big deal.

Please do not install everything (unless u want to catch and fixes bugs). More than losing hours in multiple installations you should read carefully mod's readme docs, understand what a mod can change in the game and, at the end, u have just a lesser amount of mods to install. While i do appreciate A LOT the efforts of the BIG WORLD PROJECT (and all the collection of bugfixes, my hat to Leomar and all the others for that), it is really close to be impossibile to have a full working install with 100+ mods ... really.
So my warm suggestion for newbies or not very experienced users is ... choose the mods it suits your party/game, install the tweaks you just like and u'll have a playable (hopefully with very minor issues) and enjoable game. PLEASE use Big World's VERY detailed instructions about the order of your mods u're going to install.
Just my 2 cents,
mm75

I've read the guide 4 or 5 times from top when selecting mods against incompatibilities. I also did read the mods readme to understand what each component does (in game. i have poor idea about the patching cutting writing processes they do) and to decide i would like it or not. You can see in the WeiDU.log that i have a mixed list of standart and expert mods which are also tuned for myself by means of components. What i did is just the same you suggested i assume. That is why my install time is short considered to a standart or expert one.
If there are any i am still waiting for the comments on errors that debug file contains to move on.

@ Leo_TR
Exactly that is, what melkor is speaking about and why we have splitted the BWP in standard- and expert-version. If this is your first try with such a hugh amount of mods, please don't take expert-mods.(in game. i have poor idea about the patching cutting writing processes they do)
The problem of your listed warnings and errors is, you don't tell us, by which mods this occurs. O.k. some we can see about the not installed line, but I've problems to see by which mods the files are missing. So I try some explanations which I know:
ERROR locating resource for 'COPY' Resource [NTNATALK.cre] not found in KEY file: [./chitin.key] Stopping installation because of error. Stopping installation because of error. ERROR Installing [Keep custom items], rolling back to previous state Will uninstall 47 files for [SETUP-BP-BALANCER.TP2] component 23. Uninstalled 47 files for [SETUP-BP-BALANCER.TP2] component 23. To fix this now, change in the BP-Balancer\Lib\ntotsc_action_macro_creatures.tph (open it with a text-editor):

I have edited my first post and added additional info between <<< >>>'s for each error . Can you check again?
I already started a new game and made it to Chapter Four and couldn't meet Natalka after leaving mines. She is invisible and not attacking. If you reveal and kill her she drops unbalanced items (Armor+4, Short sword+2, Bow +2 ) At the same spot I met Elka whom i have not met in my first play. She doesn't attack either, just runs towards you with a red circle(hostile).
One last thing: I am unable to complete Silke's quest in Beregost. After i kill Silke it tells no one have something to say to me. There were no errors in my previous play.
Thanks

You're playing a hugh expert-version. Could you open a new topic for that issue, copy or describe the problem again, post your WeiDU.log, too and make a changelog on Natalka and Elka, please?I already started a new game and made it to Chapter Four and couldn't meet Natalka after leaving mines. But I wanna install everything in one go (Earlier, I thought I'd complete the game once and then try the expert mods, something like increasing the difficulty ) But if I plan to install everything in the guide at one go except these which seem to have prblms mentioned:
PS - I've been encouraged by this
Normally:
Expert BG2 Tactical Encounters: You can install all, because it is for experienced gamers only
Expert BG2 Stores and Items: You can install all with a few exceptions, because we don't want to put to much items at once
Expert BG2 NPC Mods: You can install all with a few exceptions, because we don't want to put to much NPCs at once
Expert BG2 One-Day NPCs: You can install all, but we don't use them because of the less content in such a megamod
THINGS I'M NOT GOING TO INSTALL
OTHER (NON-ENG) LANGUAGE MODS:
1. Breagar und die Schlangen Abbathors v3.3
2. Ajantis v1.1
3. Chiara v1.02mB_163
4. Elvanshalee
5. Malthis ServiceVersion 1
6. Shar-Teel v1.0b
7. Frennedan v1.01
8. Thael v2.3
9. Hanna v2.2
10. Kim 1.59
11. Lester v0.7
12. Au service d'Oghma Version 1
SEEMS-TO-BE-BUGGY MODS:
1. Azure NPC BETA v3 (scared of the stutters )
2. Lost Crossroads Spell Pack for Baldur's Gate 2 = SpellPackB5 (not compat with spell revs)
3. Spell-50 v10 (not compat with spell revs)
4. PnP Free Action (Beta 1) (not compat with spell revs)*
5. W_GUI beta 0.1 - a GUI replacement for Baldur's Gate 2 (I don't wanna change it )
6. Bag Bonus v1.0.1
7. Munchmod v2.6
8. SP Items = Daniel Goodrich's Custom Item Collection
All tactical mods are fine and for the item mods don't use the following:
- Bag Bonus (avoid such mods, because of the computer lag problems)
- Munchmod (the merchant will nerve you in each area)
- Sorcerer's Place Item Collection (this mod overwrites most files and don't patch them. Miloch recommended to put it in the expert-version)
NON-AVAILABLE MODS:
1. Selune's Armoury v2 (I have v1, but it's buggy)
2. Kari v1
3. WikaedeR v4
4. The Black Rose Part I: Market Prices (buggy and not supported)
So I was wondering if there'll be any prblms with my install (especially with the NeJ-CtB issues)... And I have a few more questions:
1. Can someone give me a OMG-don't-install-this type of list for all the expert mods?? I don't expect much, but something like Leomar's second quote in this post would be excellent. All I want is which mods shouldn't I absolutely install, and any bugs/incompats with which mods (plz mention what kinda bugs I'll see if I install this or that)
Ah, done. That’s all I could think of for now. I’ll probably wait for a month before the install. Gotta get everything ready Speaking of waiting, if BWP v5.7 gets released, should I just dl the updated mods and the new installpack-fixpack-guide or the entire “linkliste” again??
Thanx for the great deal of info in these forums. They’ve helped me a lot in understanding the work and effort that goes into making these great little additions to a great game. They’ve also helped me a little in understanding how these mods actually work
Thanx again - Lol
EDIT:
I looked up the BWP Fixpack folders and saw some .tp2's without the "Setup-" prefix there too. So that implies that I don't have to change em eh??
And thank you Jarno Mikallo, you've saved me a heap load of trouble
Turns out, the tbquest installer has a typo lol
You guys are really really swell, I got the TDD file thanx to Hoppy and am more than ready to get the install done once NeJv42b's redownloaded Now, onto the list.

8. The BWP Fixpack will be run by the BWP Installer.bat .8. I?ve seen conflicting references about the BWP Fixpack. Should I use it before running install.bat or will it be run automatically by the install.bat??
9. If I don?t wanna install a particular mod, instead of modding the install.bat, can I get away with not copying the mod?s files into the BGII folder in the first place??? Or should I mod the install.bat anyway?
9. Yes, just leave out the mod files you don't want to install.

Deleting the folders is easy to understand ("ou don't need the fixes for NTotSC from the "BiG World Fixpack" anymore, because a new NTotSC version was released. So delete the whole "NTotSC" and "NTotSCv163" folders in the "BiG World Fixpack" directory.") however the actual editing the files is something I know at least I am screwing up.
bigwoldintsall bat changes
(Copy everything in between " " and copy past it it in place of everything in the original file or just save it as "install.bat" ourselves (no file for you demigod moders to hassle with) something any n00b can understand.
...Did I articulate that clearly?

Would it be possible (or is someone willing) to maybe open the big world install.bat in notepad, make the changes to the file as per the way it should be and then select all, copy and past the entire thing into a post?

Lol Daniel, I understand what you mean. I've always felt like I'm doing something wrong when I have to mod some .exe file But nonetheless, the first post does describe how to do it pretty well. I didn't have prblms with making the mods, just find and replace
I'm attaching my (changed) install.bat so that someone more experienced can cross check this (and verify it for me) and at the same time, you'll have your request Hitting two birds with one stone
Have a looksie ...
Cheers - Lol

I thought I would post in my WeiDu.log in here and maybe you guys could tell me if it looked right. I mean the install window being open I could enter in some commands (if I knew any) to maybe get it to finish, if it has not Alsace.

No, the mods are not incompatible with Spell Revisions. Spell Revisions balance the BG spells and with the other mods you will destroy the balancing. That's why we put them in the expert-version.2. Lost Crossroads Spell Pack for Baldur's Gate 2 = SpellPackB5 (not compat with spell revs)
3. Spell-50 v10 (not compat with spell revs)
No, PnP Free Action is incompatible with Divine Remix.4. PnP Free Action (Beta 1) (not compat with spell revs)*
You have seen, which mods/categories I mentioned (and that was much). Please, list the rest mods you're not sure about it.1. Can someone give me a OMG-don't-install-this type of list for all the expert mods?? I don't expect much, but something like Leomar's second quote in this post would be excellent. All I want is which mods shouldn't I absolutely install, and any bugs/incompats with which mods (plz mention what kinda bugs I'll see if I install this or that)
It was removed because of little bugs and that the mod has no ending. That was the reason for the modder to remove it from the net, because he has not the time to support it anymore in this case.2. I've found The Black Rose Part I: Market Prices so can I use that without any buggers?? Why was it removed off the net in the first place???
There are bugs in it, which was solved with the newer version. And I got Selune's Armory v1, can I use that??
Yes, you're right.3. About the "disconnect net and disable antivir progs" ... I understand why the antvir needs to be terminated, but why should I disconnect the net? I think you guys don't want the system to be infected while the antivir is down, so that's why the indirect procedure. Am I right??
Sorry, I don't have TDD on my computer at the moment.6. While dling TDD, the archive has a corrupted (failed crc check) ...\Standard\TDD\TIZDD9501.tiz file. Can I get only that file for a redownload?? Plz Or should I dl the entire mod again??
Sorry, it's new to me. Please look in the The Biggs Quest Pack Forum (click me) if you can find an answer. Otherwise it is a good idea to post this question there. Perhaps Dr. The Bigg can help you.7. While unpacking ?tbquest_v2.02.exe?, after the installer finishes, I get ?Windows cannot find ?tb#quest\setup-quest.bat?? I tried redownloading the file, but it still comes up Is something wrong??
No, only the updated mods and the new BWP tools.Gotta get everything ready Speaking of waiting, if BWP v5.7 gets released, should I just dl the updated mods and the new installpack-fixpack-guide or the entire ?linkliste? again??
Right. The BW Fixpack does the work for you in this case. These TP2 files are patches.I looked up the BWP Fixpack folders and saw some .tp2's without the "Setup-" prefix there too. So that implies that I don't have to change em eh??
Greetings Leomar
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

The list in my first post are the mods I'm absolutely NOT going to install. I was wondering if there are any other mods I've to add to that list. I particularly want all the other Expert mods cause they seem huge and popular but the Grey color on Ascension, NeJ etc worries me I was wondering which mods were purely "joke" mods that can be installed and which ones cause REAL incompatibilities.
Maybe you guys should consider a separate group of mods other than Standard and Expert called Optional (or "Joke Mods" ) for all mods that are bug-free but are considered "jokes" by the majority. That way, people will still have the option but won't be under the impression that their install may get buggy

Ok, I won't install them both then
Yes, you're right.
So, if I'm willing to take the risk, can I leave my connection open??

Ah well. Thanx for trying though. I'll try there

Right. The BW Fixpack does the work for you in this case. These TP2 files are patches.
Thanx for confirming that
Ok, I've finished dling both the Rot and NeJv42b and it turns out that the NeJ installer's corrupted now Oh well, since it's an .exe I guess I've no choice but to redownload it then. And it's much bigger than TDD ( almost 335 MB ) I'll do that though. Anything to play this great game again but the TDD corruption is only a single file while NeJ (being an unpacker) doesn't copy any file that's after the corrupt one So, I still ask if anyone has the file TDD I want. I'll be extremely grateful
Thanx - Lol

Let me quess, the BG1+BG:TotSC+patch isn't in the C:/program files... directory, ? Well, you just need to insert the directory into the command line. And yes, if the window is actually active, you should see the cursor flashing itself, but incase it's not, just push AAAAAAAAAAAAAA long enough to see the A-line, erase them and then write or copy-paste the (BG1)game directory into line.Ok I ran the full BIgWorldProject install, and was really really carfull. The install just stoped thought at

You are correct, BG Original Saga is installed "C:\Games\Baldur's Gate" and last night when it prompted me I coped and pasted the directory path in and it kept humming along for about another hour.
What should be the last thing that should install? It has happened twice now the exact same way, I don't understand what I am doing wrong.
