I have to do a new install again now. The world map crashes the game after clicking on the icon when travelling.
I seem to do something wrong every time.
The problem I have is that I cannot travel, and I cannot test it before I am through with the BG2 dungeon.

What I want to do is:

I want to play Baldurs gate 2.
I dont want to play bg1 right now, but is it necessary to install that too?
I have no idea what version of the game it is. English or international I guess. Its in english. Could that have something to say?
I want these mods:
SETUP-TDD.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-SOS.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-CTB.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-CTB-CHORES.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-CTB_FF.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-ROT.TP2~ #0 #0
~SETUP-BGT.TP2~ #0 #0

What are all the things I must install before these mods?
I used the pdf file to big world project is the one I am using but it confuses me a little.
To be specific I dont know what I need to install after the mentioned mods.

And what must I install before the mods?
Only bg1 and bg2 plus expansions, patches and the fixpack?

thanks for the replies though.

so i try to install the quest mods and I only get queried pid =-1.

That was what happened the two other times. How should i circumvent that?

The same message was also given the last time when I tried to install the worldmap and tweakpack at the very end.

aye. Which is actually kind of the problem. It confuses me with all the items.
I am down to the expanded thief hold. Wanted to try the planar sphere and the Ajoc but then it said the queried =-1 and nothing happened.

So what do I need besides this log file?

Wanna make sure you're fully understanding the English or German given in the installation guides. We try to make the instructions as clear as possible but can still be confusing to some.

Your installation is not complicated so you shouldn't be having any problems. Before doing a full re-install, make sure your game folders are in pristine condition: Building and Maintaining a Clean Install

Woppif,
if you want to install the big BG2 mods you need the Worldmap (click me), too and therefore the BG2 Fixpack (click me).

Looks like this:

- BG1+ToSC+Patch
- BG2+ToB +Patch
- BG2 Fixpack
- TDD
- SoS
- CtB
- RoT
- BGT
- Worldmap

If you want to include more mods, download and extrect them in the BG2 main directory and start the Install.bat. So it is not important that you know, which mod must be installed in which order, because the Intall.bat is doing this for you. :)

Helpful could be the first recent post in this topic:

A Megamod does not mean that you can play all of the mods or all of their content,
but you have more choices or paths through the game.

I have done all that is said in the pdf.

This time and last time I tried to install something after the expanded thief stronghold I get the message.
setup-BGT.exe.debug queried = -1.

which if i understand might be some sort of endless loop. Anyway I cant install anything else.

For such a megamod like the BWP you need the BG2 Fixpack. Please try a new install, include this mod this time and use the "BiG World Install.bat" with the "Big World Fixpack". Otherwise you will run into more problems.

The best is you follow the first post of this thread: http://www.shsforums...showtopic=37536

setup-BGT.exe.debug queried = -1.

which if i understand might be some sort of endless loop. Anyway I cant install anything else.

You can by clicking the setup-BGT.exe until you can rename it , put an extra 1 there somewhere and then copying the "WeiDU.exe" into the same directory so it's name is "WeiDU - copy.exe" and renaming that into setup-BGT.exe, this is what's called "Manual WeiDU.exe updating", it's exactly what the WeiDU.exe does first, but sometimes fails to do so and thus creates an loop.
