Hello,
I'm at the very beginning of the game - just been asked to fetch the silver shard in the Mere, did it, or, well, thought I did... - and Daeghun doesn't aknowledge the shard's presence (neither did Bevil, for that matter) and just ask me why I've returned empty-
handed.
The shard *is* in my inventory, does give me the extra HP, but no-one else seems to notice it, and so I'm unable to go on with the game. Does anyone know if there's a way to get around this, apart from re-installing the whole game and hoping for it to work this time ? ^^"
Problem with the first shard...

First suggestion, do you have a save from before getting the shard?
Second, have you tried searching the chest again?
Third, Are you fully patched?
