1. Are you looking for original art, photoshopped art or a portrait edit?

Preferrably original art.

2. Male or female? What race, age and character class, possibly alignment?

Female, human. She looks around 25-30 and is a totemic druid with true neutral alingment.

3. Describe the character's features (face, eyes, hair, clothing, etc)

Her eyes are the most striking feature - they are rather large, dim and lifeless. Her face is thin, her chin small. Her hair reaches her shoulders and is uneven and shineless. She has quite thin lips and she doesn't smile. She has this sort of 'empty' expression without looking idiotic. She wears a light green dress that reaches her ankles. She also wears armbands that both have two straps on them. She has similar legbands but they're rarely seen from under the dress.

4. What color preferences do you have (skin, eyes, hair, armor, clothing, etc)?

Her hair is black and her eyes dark brown. She doesn't wear make up. Her skin is really pale, almost white and has no scars, wrinkles, freckles or dimples visible. Also, there are no blood veins to be seen through her skin. Her armbands and legbands work as her armor. I know it's not much but it's all she's got. The bands are made of brown leather and show sings of wear. Her lips are also pale but have a bit more colour than her skin.

5. Would you like a weapon, a spell effect or an item to be shown in the portrait? If so, what kind?

No need for this.

6. What kind of a background would you like?

Since she's a druid, some trees would be nice. I don't care that much for the background, really...it can be of single colour but in that case, moody colour.

7. What kind of an expression would you like the character to have? Dangerous, happy, serene, mysterious, playful, sad, etc etc?

Empty. I don't know if you'll understand what I mean.

8. Do you have a portrait you would like to be used as a model/reference picture (for pose, expression, looks, colors, etc...)? Post it here if you have!

No.

9. Should the artist post the portrait here, or PM or email it to you?

Whichever option suits him/her the best.

10. Any deadlines?

Not really, I've still got a lot of work to do in writing & modding.

11. What game and what mod is this for?

Baldur's Gate II / Dalayna Romance Mod.

12. Anything else you'd like to mention?

Nothing to add, really, but my sincere thanks if someone finds the time and want to do this.

Ooooh, not bad at all.

There are few things that'd need a bit of work but they're minor, for example changing her ears to human ears and shortening her hair.

I'm not going to hit you. I really, really like that third one, the background is just what I was looking for! The black dress, now that I look at her, suits her better than the green one I had in mind (which was solely for the reason of her being a druid).

While I agree that the background is pretty kick-ass I would suggest making the boarder between portrait and background smoother. Especially her back looks a little weird at the moment. Both the original picture and the background are sweet, they just need to get along better. ;)

I hope it's okay if another newbie gives it a shot. I raised the issue after all so, while probably a fair distance short of perfect, this should give people an idea of what I mean.

Just a note--if you really want a portrait that fits with the canon ones, the character needs to be facing the viewer, and there needs to be a cloudy background. :)

A tip for the portrait itself--instead of using the smudge brush with the hair, try using a small brush with the correct hair colour and painting over the existing hair, to fix the strange looking ends. It will make it look much better. Make sure to create some highlights and shadows as well.

I second this. Had I the patience (and perhaps some additional skill) I would've done it myself as the end-result is likely to be a whole lot better.

Strange looking ends - I assume they're like that because of wand not being able to catch the hair ends correctly due to low resolution? If so, try image resizer, Live Demos, they work online.
