The most recent Crash Bandicoot one, of all games, for my younger brother's birthday.

For myself? Oh.. um.. BUY games?

Er, it was probably Neverwinter Nights, four years ago or so.

Heh, I don't think you wanna play that game, I might win. Try beating HoMM1, Dune, Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss, Police Quest: In Pursuit of the Death Angel or King's Quest: Quest for the Crown. Those are older.
But enough, I'm straying off topic, this isn't the "nostalgia" thread...

I forgot to mention that Dreamfall (The Longest Journey sequel) is one of my most recent purchases. Great, great game, pure eye candy.

Final Fantasy XII and the PS2 to go with it back in June. That game pleased me.
(I like parentheses.)

Storm of Zehir. A word of advice: don't bother. Especially not if you like, oh, I don't know, some form of plot at all, or hell, in depth companions, or even talking companions at all.

It's diverting for an hour or two but the novelty wears off very, very fast.

The thing I was looking forward to the most was the Doomguide. I'll probably wait for the price to drop while I go through the BG series again(like I've been planning for probably a year), and finishing up my most recent W3 run-through. (Also, I have this problem. I like completion. I'd buy the next even if I thought it looked bad, if the price wasn't bad.)

The last game I actually purchased was Mass Effect, although I have rented quite a few since then. I suppose I could have rented the XBox 360 version of ME as well, but when I know a game will be ported to PC I prefer to have the PC version. The 360 is a nice system and all, but my PC's hardware blows it out of the water.

I will probably get Dragon Age when it comes out, but I may wait to see what reviewers have to say about it. I find that as I get older I'm becoming much more particular about the games I play, and much more critical of them as well.

I recently made a purchase of Storm of Zehir, Starcraft Battlechest and Warcraft 2 Battle.net Edition.
