As per the title, what was the last game you bought? It doesn't matter if you bought it from Steam or Direct2Drive etc. or if you haven't bought one in years... just post the one you bought last time, if you can remember what it was.

Personally I just bought Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir. I haven't gotten around installing it yet, because I'm going to finish Fallout 3 first to avoid leaving more games in my backlog of titles to play.

Now I'm just going to sit back and wait for the first guy hasn't bought anything since SoA and ToB. :P

Got my copy a few days ago. I must say that I kinda like it.
After an eternity away from you all, I've returned.

Left4Dead, after two hours of the Beta. Next one up is probably GTAIV for the PC, if it doesn't turn out to be a shoddy port (earlier ones were OKish, so I don't have lots to fear, but still.).

Kae: slap yourself right now for having not spent 100$ on the full Valve collection. I know I have slapped myself for only buying the Orange Box.

Italian users: help test the Stivan NPC!

If possible, send diffs, translations and other contributions using Git.

Yeah, I know. I intend to at some point in the future, but at the time I was mostly interested in Portal. The more I played it, the more I became interested in the Half Life setting, until yes--I did kick myself for not getting it all. :D

What's Left4Dead like?

Well, in a nutshell it's a co-op shooter (although there are also versus and single player modes), starring four humans versus a shitload of zombies - if you don't like shooters in general, you don't like this one (the human interaction part is optional since you can play the game with the fairly intelligent bots available, but that doesn't hold a candle to playing with actual friends). The pacing is pretty variable as well: zombies aren't statically placed, but there's an AI Director that chooses (depending on your current progress) which and how many zombies, bosses, and resources to place.
In any event, it's included in the Valve pack ;)

Haven't played it throughly because I have to turn in my graduation thesis the 25th though.

Storm of Zehir, about an hour ago.

Back from the brink.

Like RPGs? Like Star Wars? Think combining the two would be fun? Read Darths and Droids, and discover the line "Jar Jar, you're a genius".

These, in the day when heaven was falling,
The hour when earth's foundations fled,
Followed their mercenary calling
And took their wages and are dead.

Bought??? Why to spend money when it's all available for free in torrents???
Heh, well, I don't really remember, I need to buy new hardware first.
Of games, I think it was the second addon to HoMM4. Don't remember it's name as I gave the disc away to my friend. Before that - either Kotor2 or NWN1.

For the computer? Mass Effect. It doesn't work on my system, though. Which sucks penis, let me tell you.

I hope to buy Storms of Zehir very soon, though. And if not, receive it for Christmas, at the very latest. I've also got my eyes on Lionhead's The Movies, which looks like a blast, despite the fact it's not new anymore.

Left 4 Dead and it`s awesome!

I`m sorry to say, but Storm of Zehir got uninstalled in about 10 mins after installation. Rather disappointing. :(

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed for PS2 a few days(2? 3?) back. :( sums it up pretty well. Though from what my uncle told me when he played through his(x-Box 360), they sound almost like different games, where his is good, and mine shouldn't be allowed to exist.

WotLK at the same time.

Also, how on earth did I miss that Storm of Zehir was out?!?! *Goes to check various stores*

EDIT: Heh. It appears Walmart doesn't have it.

I guess I'm one of the "criminal scum"... Posted Image I know, I know, I'm ashamed, but I hate buying my games in French, and I'm too cheap to pay for shipping & handling (hey, I'm still a student!!!). I will say that when I *really*really*really* like a game, I will eventually buy it next time I'm back in DC visiting friends and family.

Soooo, last game I bought... Well, I buy them in batches, so last time I went game shopping, I got myself:
Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion
and its expansion pack, the Shivering Isles (didn't find the Knights expansion, oh well)
Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind in its Game of the Year packaging (so it had its expansions Bloodmoon and Tribunal too)
and... Sam & Max: Season One (haven't really played yet, it just kinda sits there for now).

Next trip, I plan to get myself the KotORs and Jade Empire.

Hehe, bet I had you all beat before I played the KotORs and Jade Empire a couple of weeks ago. Who am I kidding, I'm the gamer running stuff with DOSBox and playing games from Windows 98 (Curse of Monkey Island, anyone? :D )

We'd been keeping a spare laptop for those 95/98 games. But it died on us. No more Dark Colony, Warcraft 1, Red Alert 1, etc. Well actually I can play the last one. Relatively. First Decade makes it easier. And to an extent one can try 95/98 games on a higher machine. It might explode, but you can try... ;)

Ergh. Might have to buy Storm of Zehir now, but looks like Walmart doesn't have it. Oh well. Might grab it off Amazon. A few dollars cheeper.
