I have played follow rpgs already: BG series, PS:T, Morrowind, Oblivion, IWD series, Diablo series, Arcanum, NWN series. Ehhh I think thats it.
And one more question: I was thinking, maybe I will give a go with either Kotor or Jade Empire. Which one do you think is better one out of two?

I preferred KotOR as a SW fan, but they were both quite good. They're probably the closest to what you're looking for, too.And one more question: I was thinking, maybe I will give a go with either Kotor or Jade Empire. Which one do you think is better one out of two?

Mme. Thenardier:
I used to dream that I would meet a prince
But God Almighty, have you seen what's happened since?
Master of the house? Isn't worth me spit!
`Comforter, philosopher' and lifelong sh*t!
Cunning little brain, regular Voltaire
Thinks he's quite a lover but there's not much there
What a cruel trick of nature landed me with such a louse
God knows how I've lasted living with this bastard in the house!

Jade Empire is pretty good too, and since it was enhanced for PC it's much better graphically than the original console version. It offers a different perspective on things, a great storyline, and again, there are NPCs with depth. Romance possibilities are in.
Mass Effect offers a new kind of experience in RPGs, throwing in movie elements and great voice acting mixed in with a unique setting. I highly recommend it. Romances are available for both genders as in all the above games. You can also download the mini content expansion Bring Down the Sky for free if you're playing this on a PC.
Lastly, I'm throwing in Wizardry 8 as a suggestion. It's definitely worth playing if you can find it somewhere, which can be a bit difficult since Sir-Tech went bankrupt and the game hasn't been printed in quite a while.

You have nice romances in all three games (although I'm mostly familiar with the romance options for females, ie, respectively, Carth Onasi, Atton Rand and Sky... *purrs* ), and the plots are nicely done (if you forgive KotOR 2 its few flaws, which I did eventually, in spite of all my previous ranting against it).
You also asked which one was better out of Jade Empire and KotOR. Well... it's a though question, I think both are very good games and a worth it, it's really a close call. I might like KotOR just a teensy bit more than Jade Empire, but that might be because I like Carth better than Sky...
Seriously, I really liked the Star Wars setting, and the force powers, and having two buddies following you around instead of just one, so those are KotOR's advantages over JE, but... like I said, both are worth it.

I think I will go for Kotor II and see how I like it. If I don't like it then I will go for one of the other games you folks have recommended

Out of the two games, I prefer the first. The second is brilliant in places, but flawed (the final planet and ending in particular), but more than that, I found it depressing. I played it three times but had to put it away in the end as it brought me down too much (which the first game doesn't, at all). Not that I want to put you off, but if you are sensitive to such things, it's something to be aware of. I like them both, and they're both worth playing, but the first is a happier experience.

"The righteous need not cower before the drumbeat of human progress. Though the song of yesterday fades into the challenge of tomorrow, God still watches and judges us. Evil lurks in the datalinks as it lurked in the streets of yesterday, but it was never the streets that were evil." - Sister Miriam Godwinson, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri

I found Jade Empire enjoyable, but it focuses more on the story and the action than on character development. There were a couple of characters I liked, but in my opinion most of them are simply not worth speaking to.
I'm going to cast another vote for Bloodlines as well. That is one of the best games I have ever played. There are no NPC followers, and no romances per se, but there are a few. . . romantic? encounters. Bloodlines was just an all around great game. Good graphics, great characters, interesting story, the most phenomenal voice acting I've ever heard, and very unique gameplay. The worst thing about the game is that was developed on a beta version of Valve's Source engine, and it was rushed to release by the producers. The developers then went out of business. As a result, the game as released was pretty buggy, making player made unofficial patches a must. If you download the one linked in a previous post, I strongly recommend you install the "basic" version. The full version changes a lot of things that, quite frankly, were not broken and did not need to be tampered with. Well, that's my opinion anyway.
Experience gained: 50000
Gold gained: 1000

Another deep and good RPG I can recommend is King Of Dragon Pass. Lots of replay value and no game is the same as the last one.
It's not a popular suggestion, but I love The Temple of Elemental Evil when patched up by the folks at Circle of Eight. It's one of the last turn based games out there, something i wish the infinity engine did better.
