That is correct, yes.
And Icenodan, I suppose it would also have a chance at catching on undergrowth. But then again, if you step over something on the ground easily, you most likely won't. Also, with the quiver hanging that way it is more flexible in its movement - of course, that one doesn't look like it has the arrows secured, so you have to be careful not to tip them over.
