but i think that maybe Pen52 is rigth (8 dialog with Sarevok are not much infact at the beginning he would hate u)
so i suggest that if HIGTHTIMERODEO wanna use Pen52's ideas of dream should talk a bit becouse the dreams could change all the romance in ToB and then could be also an other tipe of restriction for the romance for example instead of the restriction for the alignment there could be the restriction of how the dreams and the encountrer in the hell goes

Ummmm, sidequests? ToB? Apart from WK?
Icen
I meant sidequests in SOA (if you're refering to the dreams suggestion). Sorry if I got it wrong , wasn't quite sure what you meant.

Icendoan:
In your first post I have no idea what you said. I'll try as best I can and go play around in the Black Isle folder, see if I can figure it out.
Pen52:
I'll try to include PIDs, but we'll have to see how it goes. For the 8 main talks, I can add a seperate talk for before the Throne or maybe the initial confrontation with Amelyssan before you take on the pools. Though it might complicate things more.
Platonic Oathed, maybe, but no oathed romance talks. That just wouldn't work.
Yeah, I'm running around in Chapter 2 now, just finished the Trademeet quests. I have a question though, were you thinking of having the Sarevok dreams around the Irenicus talks or inside them? 'Cause that could get awkward.
I don't know about you guys, but I have a tendency to skip Ust Natha at all possible costs. Except on a couple of occasions when I wanted to play the Jarlaxle RE encounter (Pretty good by the way), I just skipped it. I could be persuaded to go into the Ust Natha Inn for the right reasons (nookie), but aside from that.
The last dream sounds great. They're your ideas, so go ahead and flesh 'em out.
DeathPlanet:
We'll use Pen's dreams because they are perfect for setting the tone and getting the early sit (doggy joke) out of the way.
I'm looking for an Infinity Engine Coding Dictionary to try and get my brain wrapped around a lot of this and I'm not having a whole lot of luck.
Thank you all for being so very patient with me while I get my head wrapped around all this.

i don't know if myne is a good ideas but to exstende the main dialogues there could be added a quest in ToB for Sarevok before all the mission to defeat Yaga Shura becouse for example there is no meaning in the apparence of Tomoko(Tamoko i don't remember) if the protagonist and Sarevok aren't advanced in the relationship (platonic or not) i have an ideas of a quest (the story of the quest) if u all are intrested
That sounds great! Lets hear it!

in ToB u revive Sarevok using only a piece of your soul then the ideas of a nice quest
Sarevok's original death body is still somewhere so there
In Saradus(sorry i'm not good in remembering names) a fireball hit Sarevok and kill him but to revive him the normal resurrection of the main protagonist or other cleric/druid don't work so the only way to revive him is by bringing him the the tample in Saradus then the femal owner of the tample will say u that there is something wrong and after u explain the particular situation of Sarevok she tell u that this kind of particular resurrection without the body could have been happened just becouse an half-god gave him a pice of his soul BUT without a real body time after time this little piece of soul will no more be able to mantain Sarevok real form so if Sarevok want to continue to live must regain his real dead body to fuse the little piece of soul, with his bones and his soul so now the group pryority is save Sarevok and not Saradus (someone in your group could not be happy of these) the tample owner give u a particular ring that let Sarevok revived for just 10 times (just is to say becouse 10 is a lot) then by your poketplane u will be able to go to the "baldur's Gate Graveyard" after killed sever undead in the areas in the crypt where is Sarevok corpse u find a lich doing some axperiment with the bones of a dead godspawn (Sarevok corpse) the lich runaway and u by reading some paper u know the lich second recidence.
After climbed up(or down) his palace u have to defeat him then the remain of the Sarevok's corpse must be given to the cleric female in the Tample of Saradus and the mission is over.
After what your pg has done for Sarevok will be expeined why the become closer is such short time....

{After Sarevok is hit by the Fireball}
Jan: Ouch, he'll feel that one in the morning. Which reminds me of the time my distant cousin twice removed was hit in the head by a rock dropped by a rabid halfling. You see, my cousin (Jimmy Jamtoes was his name) had angered the local halfling community near the Friendly Arm Inn because he defeated them in the How-Many-Hairs-On-Your-Feet-Can-You-Pluck-Before-You-Pass-Out Competition, and they thought he had taken some performance enhancing drugs to keep him awake. Of course, he was a sneaky little Gnome and asked me to get him some for the said competition. It cost him half his winnings too. Dragon Urine is hard to come by.
(If Jaheria has Harpers Call memorized)
Jaheria: Hmph. It seems our friendly ex-bhaalspawn has been struck down. I will revive him immedietly.
You: Please Do. (goto ReviveJah)
Don't waste your magic on him, Jaheria. I was looking for an easy way to kill him off anyway. (goto LeaveJah)
(ReviveJah)
[Jaheria casts Harpers Call]
Jaheria: I don't understand. My magic - it isn't working. This is bad, <CHARNAME>. We should take him to the Temple, maybe we can find answers there.
(LeaveJah)
Jaheria: I hope you would not leave me to pass so easily, <CHARNAME>.
(Anomen (eww))
Anomen: Hah! It seems that defiler has finally got what he deserves.
You: Revive him, Anomen. (goto ReviveAno)
Indeed. I was looking for an easy way to kill him off anyway. (end)
(ReviveAno)
Anomen: What? Why? He is evil - he does not deserve to be raised.
You: Regardless, he is still a member of this party and a valued fighter. (goto ReviveAno2)
It would sicken me to just leave him here. Bring him back, please. (goto ReviveAno2)
Listen, paladin, I just gave you an order! (goto ReviveAno2)
True. Fine then, have it your way. (end)
(ReviveAno2)
Anomen: Bah. Fine, I will bring back your precious 'brother'. (goto ReviveAno3)
(ReviveAno3)
[Anomen casts res]
Anomen: Well, it looks like the gods don't want him to be brought back. Shall we continue then? Oh, fine, if you really want him back, we could try the Temple.
(Viconia)
Viconia: It seems your Kitrye Dalninuk has bumped his head, <CHARNAME>.
You: Revive him, please. (goto ReviveVic)
Leave him. I was looking for an easy way to kill him off anyway. (goto LeaveVic)

You: Thank you, Aerie. (goto ReviveAer)

Aerie: W-What? Why isn't he alive? Oh no, my magic! It won't work! W-We have to take him to a Temple, <CHARNAME>! Maybe they can help him!
(OmgAer)
Aerie: W-What? You would leave him like this? I-I know he was an evil man... But surely you couldn't...?
You: I said leave him, Aerie! (goto OmfgAer)
Sorry, it was a bad joke. Go ahead and revive him. (goto ReviveAer)

Does anyone have a working Near Infinity? I've got it and tried to run it, but I don't know how. I know with Near Infinity we can create Items, but I'm not sure if we can do areas. We might have to get another party to do that.

No matter how awesome it would be.
Also, to get NI to work, it has to stay as a .jar (compressed file), and run with the JRE (Java Runtime Environment). That should be all it needs.
On a different note, you may find this useful.

Dream 1 (conditions: first conversation with Yoshimo done ? if in party - third Irenicus dream done; at next rest at an inn)
You wake up to the darkness of a dank tunnel. Your skin itches ? it feels wrong ? burning, and there is the smell of sulfur in the air. The soft glow of runes etched into the stone is the only thing you see. The stone itself, strangely enough, feels cold against your bare feet.
I. A voice: So, it is true. I can make you come to me. They did not lie? not this time.
PC1: Ow. My head. GOTO Voice1drunk
PC2: You do realize, whoever you are, that disturbing my much deserved rest could have lethal consequences? GOTO Voice2angry
PC3: They? GOTO Voice3curious1
PC4: Come to where? GOTO Voice4curious2
PC5 (WIS>15; INT>15): Those runes? That?s abyssal script. Why the hell am I dreaming about a disembodied voice in the Abyss? GOTO Voice5wise
PC6: Who are you? GOTO Voice6unsure
PC7: That voice? I know that voice! GOTO Voice7shocked
Voice1drunk. *Chuckles* Ah, yes. You had quite a bit to drink tonight, CHARNAME. Thank you. GOTO PC8
Voice2angry. As sure of yourself as ever, I see. But you are not the one with the upper hand here, CHARNAME. Best you remember that. GOTO PC9
Voice3curious1. As curios as ever, I see. Quench that curiosity of yours for now, CHARNAME. It will do you no good. It is I that will be asking the questions tonight. GOTO PC10
Voice4curious2. Does it matter? This place, a figment of both our imaginations, is unimportant. The fact that you are here, a hair?s breadth away, is what matters. *something cool brushes against your bare shoulder* GOTO PC1,2,3,6,7
Voice5wise. I?m impressed. It seems that Gorion managed to drill something into that thick scull of yours after all? before I cut him in two. You haven?t forgotten about me, have you, sister? GOTO PC11
Voice6unsure. Have you forgotten me so soon? Or have I become just one more corpse in your wake? One more dead face in the crowd? *you hear heavy footsteps approaching* Father would be pleased if it were so. But I doubt you could ever forget me, sister. GOTO PC11
Voice7shocked. I would be surprised if you had forgotten. Such a tremor in your voice? I am pleased to see that you fear me still. GOTO PC 11
PC8
A: Thank you? What the hell is that supposed to mean? GOTO Voice 8
B. Thank you for the reminder. My head is splitting. While asleep. Generally not considered a good sign. GOTO Voice 9
C: How much I?ve had to drink is none of your concern. GOTO Voice 10
D: I?m sober enough to deal with you. Who ever you are. What is it that you want? GOTO Voice 11
Voice 8: The drinking bout you?re on has made you vulnerable, CHARNAME. Enough for me to slip in past your defenses. You wouldn?t believe how hard I?ve had to push to get here. So I thank you for indulging in your little pity-fest. GOTO PC2,5,6,7
Voice 9: Not grown up enough to hold your liquor, then? I?m disappointed. GOTO Voice 8
Voice 10: Indeed. GOTO Voice 8
Voice 11: You will find that out soon enough, CHARNAME. But, tell me, do you know who I am? GOTO PC2,5,6,7
PC9
A: What makes you think that you have the upper hand here? GOTO Voice 11
B: I don?t take orders from disembodied voices.
C: And if I choose not to? GOTO Voice 11
D: *You shiver, despite yourself ? something is very wrong here*
PC10
A. I don?t take orders from disembodied voices.
B. And which questions would those be? GOTO Voice 11
C: In that case, I?m bored already.
D: *You shiver, despite yourself ? something is very wrong here*
PC11
A: This is a dream. GOTO Sarevok1
B: *soften your voice* I wish I could forget, brother. I never wished for your death. GOTO Sarevok2
C: You?ll whish I had by the time I?m done with you, you son of a gutter whore! GOTO Sarevok3
D: *say nothing and try and repress a shiver* GOTO Sarevok4
E: (alignment-chaotic): Say, how?s it like being dead? Any good shops on the other side? GOTO Sarevok5
F: *sigh* How many times do I have to kill you, exactly? And call me sister again and the tally goes up to two. GOTO Sarevok6
G: Sarevok! *clench your fists* GOTO Sarevok7
Sarevok1: Managed to figure that one out all on your own, have you? GOTO PC12
Sarevok2: Then you are a bigger fool than I thought. Ending your miserable life would have been a triumph for me. GOTO PC13
Sarevok3: *laughs* Such a temper, dear sister. I find it curious that you couldn?t unleash this famed anger of yours while the man you called father breathed his last on the point of my sword. GOTO PC14
Sarevok4: Nothing to say? Come now, sister ? I have come a long way for this. GOTO Sarevok8
Sarevok5: Another frivolous word from you, and you?ll find out first hand. GOTO Sarevok8
Sarevok6: Once was enough, sister. Past time to even the score, don?t you think? GOTO Sarevok8
Sarevok 7: In the flesh. *chuckles* In a manner of speaking. GOTO Sarevok8
~
Sarevok8: Tell me, then, do I still haunt your dreams? Do you wake up, drenched in cold sweat and pear at the shadows in fear of finding me there? GOTO PC15
PC12
A: Bite me. GOTO Sarevok8
B: Why, yes I did. I?m that impressive. GOTO Sarevok8
C: *remain silent* GOTO Sarevok8
D: Why the hell am I dreaming about you of all people?! GOTO Sarevok8
F: No need for the sarcasm. GOTO Sarevok8
PC13
A: One more point where you and I differ. Killing is never the answer. GOTO Sarevok9
B: Just goes to show I?m a bigger person than you. GOTO Sarevok10
C: (alignment ? good&neutral) Oh, you misunderstand, brother. I should have kept you alive as my personal toy. There are some excruciatingly painful places I wanted to go with you. You got off easy. *unconsciously trace one of your own scars* GOTO Sarevok11

F: Gorion meant nothing to me, the old fool. It?s the ?trying to kill me? part that I frown on. If only you weren?t so hell bent on it, we could have worked together. GOTO Sarevok13
Sarevok9: What a pathetic weakling you are. How you ever managed to defeat me is a mystery to me. GOTO Sarevok8
Sarevok10: It shows what a sniveling weakling you are. That is all. GOTO Sarevok8
Sarevok11: Save your empty threats for those who would believe them. I know you, fool. You do not have it in you. GOTO Sarevok8

For areas IETME might be better. Also, it can be a sufficient deal just to reuse an existing one (either from BG2 or any other IE game), thus saving many troubles. Repositioning actors and trigger areas is a snap compared to 'baldurising' a lonely tileset.but I'm not sure if we can do areas.

And the romance will come first, but adding in a side quest would extend it beautifully.
Oh, and I was looking around the dialog and that for the Sarevok mod? I think I found the problem, when comparing it to other mods, I saw the line 'SetGlobal', so I looked at our dialog again and... No SetGlobal.
I tried to do it, but I got the bleep, bleeping 'Parsing error' again.
Could that be it?

Area can be GLOBAL, LOCALS or an internal variable area, where you use things like AR0700.
value must be an integer, and afaik, must be positive.

I recall people advising against using SetGlobal()s in dialogs and going instead with IncrementGlobal()s, else it might not always work. And IIRC I did have a case of 'Set' not working to me, though it's been way back in 2006 so I don't remember details.
