In most cases, you would be correct. However, Korgan is not a standard dwarf by any means. Completely seperate from his brutality, he is very humanized, rather like Coran in BG1.I like it.
One nitpick: I don't think Korgan would actually find the main character good-looking, I think he'd be more likely to express his distaste about Sarevok bedding a lass without a proper beard or something of the sort.
