This crazy idea, I have had slept, this night, and I ask you a question. Who's you favourite? If, you notice, any grammar mistakes, please inform me. :D
  • Solaufein, who has a flirt pack and hundreds of fangirls?

  • Phaere, arrogant drow, and you need to rescue her, from the "devourers"?

  • Drizzt, a hunk, who had made friends on the surface?

  • Viconia, a joinable NPC, who had been exiled from her homeland?

Phaere. The only one who so much as enters the general vicinity of what the drow as a whole are like.

Matron Mother Ardulace?

Yasraena (Okay, I've never actually played her)

Zhai (Half, and wrong game)

Jarlaxle (Cheeky, bald, powerful, funny hat...)

Out of those, I don't really like any, but I'll put Viconia as my favorite for a well done character who dug a gut reaction out of me that was deeper than several other NPCs.

For all their arrogant belief in their own superiority, they fall just as easily to my blade as any other foe. However, I'll go ahead and say Viccy, even though I've never actually finished a romance with her. Since my interest in Jaheira lately has waned, and other than Imoen, she is often the NPC who I include in my group the most right from BG1 (where I pop out to Peldvale shortly after arriving at the Friendly Arm just to pick her up) all the way into TOB.

My latest playthrough I experimented for the first time by gutting Solaufein and not betraying Phaere to her death.

Ihmeellinen meri

Kummalliset kalat liukuvat syvyydessä,
tuntemattomat kukat loistavat rannalla;
olen nähnyt punaista ja keltaista ja kaikki toiset värit -

se herättää tulevien seikkailujen janon:
mitä on tapahtunut sadussa, on tapahtuva minullekin.

Viconia, for her wit and her wonderful voice acting. Most entertaining character in the whole series. Rather tragic, actually, and I love her will to just carry on no matter what. And her one-liners are freakin' hilarious.

Solaufein, is of course, yummy  :woot:

I liked Solaufein; I remember how it made me smile when I realised the acronym even before he showed his un-drowishness. I never really liked Viconia, besides, she is also the sort of deep-down-under-a-good-person way of drow. Phaere once-a-lover-of-Solaufein and tecnically a good person who was stripped of goodness against her will is not a straight evil one either... Drizzt is boring after a while, too, so... Solaufein goes my vote :)

Maybe I'm just tired, but... what acronym?

Viconia by a good margin. I don't care if she's "good at heart". Part of the pleasure in romancing her is converting her from evil to neutral. Her romance is suitably complex, and K'aeloree's Viccy Friendship mod adds a great optional relationship with her if, as usual, I'm going steady with Aerie. Managing Viccy in combat can also be satisfyingly testing at times because of some of her low stats, balanced by her good cleric skills.

My next favourite is Yasraena because of her complexity and also for her dual-wielding skills and customised weapons at higher levels. It's a pity she doesn't have a romance option.

Viconia.

Good Drow never rang true with me, and she's witty and a good party member and I lurve her.

It will probs be Xulaye when she comes out, though.

How many **** times it needs to be repeated - it's up to designers to decide whether there is a romance or not?!

Please tell me how I may have offended by saying what I did. Would it be bad of me to say I wish Bioware had included a Nalia romance or a good spiked club for Jaheira? Is it a spoiler to repeat what I read about the absence of a romance option in the Yasraena reviews before downloading the Yasraena mod? If you're interpreting my comment as a put-down of Yasraena, I assure you she wouldn't be my second-favourite drow if she was lousy. She's great. I have recommended Yasraena several times on SHS in the last six months. It seems a little severe of you to wish me dead.
