Spell Casting Issues, anyone else?

Just a few buggy spell things...

I'm just getting into the the mines and all and have picked up Yeslick. For some reason he cannot cast "raise dead" from a scroll (the scroll is a darker shade implying he cannot use it) My Paladin can equip "raise dead" but can't cast it on any one (the target icon appears but won't allow me to select a dead character)

The "web" graphic is used for the mage "army of one" spell

Okay I just tried something and found the message "inadequate intelligence" came up when I had Yeslick try to equip a cleric spell scroll. Is that something new? I used to play a lot but don't recall clerics having a INT min for casting cleric scrolls. I'm wondering which mod would cause that?

Every scroll requires a minimum intelligence score of 9. That's standard game behaviour.
The army of one spell is introduced by Dark Side of the Sword Coast and that's how it appears in-game.

I am afraid that scroll will not work when you cast it. That scroll is bugged from the BG1UB mod. Your best bet is to find a backup of that scroll. There hopefully is one right in the BG1UB/backup folder. SCRL63 is the file you should search for. When you find it just copy paste into override folder and test again.

I presume you mean the fact that Dead actor and Range -1 has been replaced with Living actor and Range 1?

The 'web' graphic is "correct": the mod uses that design.

Would be nice to get a new one made.

When this is a known BG1UB bug, was this reported in the BG1UB forum, so that Ascenscion64 knows about it?

Leomar, I'm just asking, isn't it the same issue with the RCT1 from Game Patch Files (for v1.21) from SMM ? Because it sounds like that and it has already a solution (which seems to be the one Hoppy stated...)

I've found the description about it here in the first post and I think that Ascension64 knowns about the bug.

Bingo! That was the change. I couldn't remember because it was a while ago but I just restored a backup and looked at the difference.
