The last one (really, especially, particularly) are related to Slayer?

I like spiky four armed demons ^_^ he's an Abyssal demon and, techincally, one could say the Slayer is the manifestation of an Abyssal deity.

Bhaal's plane was part of Nine Hells last time I read, and he was a lawful deity - if it's the Slayer we're talking about here

How do you get your pencil scans to be so clean?

Oh noes may Oghma forgive me for my critical failure in Lore check XD yes Bhaal definitely LE, not CE!! I guess the mistake on my part was caused because BG2 usually refers to Charname's Pocket Plane as part of the Abyss. Probably Bioware chose to use that word because it's more easily identified with Hell. BTW according to Wikipedia, the Throne of Bhaal was in the Barrens of Doom and Despair which is one of the Outer Planes, not in Baator o_O man we've reached the limits of my (limited) D&D lore knowledge XD

How do you get your pencil scans to be so clean?

1. A white background behind the sheet of paper (in my case, the cover of the scanner itself is white, but my very first scanner had it black)
2. 200 dpi resolution
3. A good contrast when scanning (set through the scanning window)
4. Once the picture has been scanned, I make it brighter, around +10 points. This take the "dirt" away and leaves only the lines.
5. Repeat if necessary
6. Decrease brightness and increase contrast (use always the same figure, for example -15 brightness and +15 contrast).
7. Manual cleaning if weird lines survived ;-)

On my next level up I'm putting some skill points into Lore as well. Such lack of common knowledge is unforgivable! XP

I always use copy&paste instead of writing it XD

What you missed is that there's a typo in the one you're copying... :P

Very nice pics, as always.

Another "someday will be colored" sketch.
Drawn between 12 pm and 1 am on my trusted sketchbook, no reference used.

The guy is Trias (Planescape: Torment) and the girl is Kaelyn (Mask of the Betrayer).
I think they have a lot in common, from very personal views of justice to wing issues.

That's the Sword of Gith :D *Nods to Orthodoxia*

1. Never draw at 1 am, unless you're a vampire XD
2. There's always photomanipulation ^_^
3. Now we know where you were looking at :D

Seriously speaking, thanks for pointing out, I felt they looked wrong but I wasn't sure. It's hard to draw breast plates with boobies AND avoid drawing a Xena-look-alike (oh noes!)

Oh yes. The way they draw fantasy females, it makes you wonder where the store that sells pushup bra +3s is. .p

Boob placement is a pain with full-coverage breastplates though, since there's less tiny anatomical details to fill the space with, there's also less landmarks to pick a firm spot by.
Teeheehee 'firm', teehee... :3

Yeah, Xena's gone down a bit with time, but eh, even she ain't quite that low yet AFAIK. ^^

Ps: Sowwwyyyy... XD

I've always loved the way some very serious 'artists' paint women in full plate armour with nipples still being visible... You get that a lot these days.
Guess what? I've started a blog! Kitchen Witchcraft : of Magic and Macaroni.

It's all because something that is generally found in the lower parts of male anatomy, and is indeed considered a definitive part of it, enforces an aversion to gender confusion and dictates that females should look feminine.
Indeed, the aforementioned secondary or primary cognitive organ is occasionally known to cause a filtering out of good taste and intellect from a male's communicative and creative output.
