I'm starting a topic for my 'serious' fan art (i.e. not parody comics). I have only 2 (unfinished) pics to show but I hope there will be more in the future!

The pics I'm showing you are fan arts of the IWD2 NPC Project mod by Domi http://www.gibberlings3.net/iwd2npc/
I admit this is the very first NPC mod I've ever played. I always play games without mods, at least for the first 'run', so I can enjoy mods better. However the IWD2 original campaign was so boring that I tried to play it 3 times and always gave up after few hours ;-)

These are still pencil sketches, I'll color them someday. I don't know if I'll post the colored version here though, because I'll add some blood and it could be a bit too much for the forum standards.

The first one: Diriel, neutral evil, elf, druid, he's using Snake Bite agains some Aurelites

The second one: Rizdaer, lawful evil, drow, warrior. He's cleaning one of this swords using his dead enemy's cloak, a priest of Bane

I think you have a pretty good start here :) and I'm sure there are plenty of people here who would like to see these colored.

As for the depiction of blood, though I may not be speaking for the site or the staff, I think this thread gives a pretty good indication of what's accepted/tolerated here and, judging by the subject matter of your sketches, there's no reason why the amount of blood in your drawings should necessarily even approach, much less exceed, that of the bloodier pics posted in the thread I linked to.

These are excellent Epantiras. I for one, wouldn't mind seeing them in full color, no mater the quantity of blood :) Both Rizdaer and Diriel look equally evil in their own way.

Now, I'm nostalgic to replay the mod again.

They look great, even if the Snake arms of Diriel are creepy. :crying:


I'd love to see them in full colour as well. I don't mind the blood - it can't be worse than "Stubbs the Zombie" which I'm currently playing (eating peoples' brains is rather messy).

Very nice. Quite a bit different from you more haphazardous style of parody art.

Still modding the Mod for the Wicked... It is a big project you know... And I got sidetracked (several times) a bit... sorry.
However, as we all know, Evil never really sleeps.

All great works, Epantiras. You have really amazing style.I like especially the goblins on your last picture.:) If you plan to color them someday, I'd cannot wait to see that.

*UPDATE*

The portrait of my MotB character - why do companions have potraits while I do *not*??

Little techincal notes: I added some red tones on cheeks, nose, mouth and ears 'cause it's where skin is thinner and the blood beneath can be seen better 9_9 nobody will notice that but at least is a small step toward realism.

Don't worry, I'm uglier than that.

The colour and lightning on that hair is absolutely fabulous!

Amazing coloring, Epantiras. :) And those red, glowing eyes are great, also lightning on the golden headband.
