I regard myself a quite good programmer (C++/Pascal/Delphi; 3 years Experience) and would like to contribute to a Baldurs Gate 1 Mod project if anyone needs Help. I've no experience in modding, but maybe a quite worthy coder.

If you know C and Pascal you should have no trouble picking up WeiDU once you learn the ins and outs of the Infinity Engine dialogue structure. Have you considered downloading it, looking at the tutorials, and trying some basic playing around in BG1?
