[_Nix_]

Sooo... I've finally plucked up the courage to post some of what is generously termed my "art" of my various PCs. I hate computers so the whole scan in/editing process has been VERY lazy, but artistic advice, particularly on colouring and such would be greatly appreciated - I can never seem to ink and colour as well as I can sketch.

This is how I draw when I'm not sketching crudely drawn anime

1) Is Nix, CN Human Sorc, pretty young, pragmatic, generally altruistic unless it's inconvenient. She's sometimes a tiefling depending on the game.

2) Is Jana, CN Half-elf Bard, late 20s, fairly hedonistic, laid back, chaotic to the extreme (I swear to God, I'd never met Haer'Dalis when I designed her )

3) Is Flick, CN (yes, alright, but it's the most fun) Tiefling rogue, now epic level, of the opinion that everything in life has a price. Infuriating for my DnD group when I inflict her on them as my DM ex machina Secretly has a soft spot for noob adventurers. Don't ask the scabbard question, I promise it's been thought through and there's a reasonable answer.

Please be nice, I've never claimed to be a good artist

Very nice! I'm partial to sketches and pencil work, so I really like these. I particularly like how you've drawn Flick.

Possibly because I am I dunno, it's just more fun. I hate the whole thing where the game seems to think you're totally naiive, take everything at face value, and always say exactly what you mean. I like to think sometimes my characters are playing the NPCs at their own game. Certainly Flick, as a PnP character, has +23 to bluff, +15 to diplomacy and +18 to sense motive, so she's at least a little savvy. Jana is a BARD in the truest sense of the word, she doesn't go out of her way to hurt people, but she looks after number one, and she won't do anything for free. Nix should possibly be TN as she's a little more thoughful/sympathetic but even so she's hardly one to rush in and upset the status quo without finding out both sides of the story.

I absolutely adore it! Especially Nix and Flick - I'd love to be able to draw such lively positions as the crouching one of Flick. Maybe we'll see some more art from you?

Heh, thanks Didn't notice that last post, sorry!

I hope so I'm loving how much arty-type inspiration this board gives me! Though I could never draw poses like that without a reference - I have a book of anatomy and expressions/positions for fantasy art, so Im cheekily using that as a reference atm
