a problem about starting a SoA game in BGT-WeiDU v1.06

It also worked on my install, BGT-WeiDU only. Have you tried having a short break to see if the situation revolves itself?

What you could try and do is to uninstall mods one by one and keep trying until it works.

I discovered that when I remove Minsc and Imoen everything works fine, the problem doesn't occur. It's strange. I have also Kivan and Dynaheir in my party. So the problem is witch transiton of Minsc and Imoen, the two chatacters which appears at the beginning of SOA. Somebody knows have can I resolve this problem now?

Are you using the old version of 1.06? That might be the problem.

Are you using the old version of 1.06? That might be the problem.

I think I have this problem, I have been tearing my hair out at the thought of going all the way through BG1 and not being able to transfer my characters :(
The screen goes black just after the SOA intro video.
Should I just uninstall the mods in order to BGT then reinstall with the new BGT (in same order) for the save game to work or do I also have to back up the Dialog.tlk.

I dont have Jahira and Minsc in my party just Imoen, if I remove Imoen from the party before Transition will this work, and will SOA version of Imeon be inside Irenicus cage so I can reinstall that Imeon in the party?
I only really want Imoen and Jatl'ya to survive the transition, the Shadow Theives can have the rest <_<

Just re-install everything in the same order as you currently have it, but using the newer version of BGT-WeiDU.

I opted to remove Imoen before transition to SOA and it works fine, if you dont want to go through reinstalling all the mods and dont mind useing SOA versions of Imoen,Jahera and Minsc then this is ok.
One of my NPC,s Yeslick the Dwarf Figh/Cleric did not get transfered is this by design?
Also I did not get many of my items and the helmet of Balduran was missing , unless Irenicus sold them for me to find at the merchants. Is Item transfer random? , I was hoping Jetlayas and Kiera Silverstrings armour would get transfered.

I did choose item transfer with the BGTTweaks component, with it saying that it was considered a CHEAT in the manual I sort of expected most of my items to survive. It would be good if all your items transfered but they get spread out among merchants , Shadow Theives, Irenicus lair and Bhodis Lair , because Irenicus & Shadow theives diveded your Items as booty and sold them in the 'city of coin'.
Also I noticed that Yeslick is part of TDD so I imagine thats why he was not transfered.

Perhaps you could actually read the readme to work out what is actually transferred when that component is installed.

Well obviously, as I have not posted my mod log file ,
Yeslick was not transfered , The Darkest Day has its own version of Yeslick so I assumed this must be why , if it is then someone like you, who works with the mods a lot would know without needing a full list of every mod installed.
