I really don't have any way to stop you from doing both quests. Logically though, if you finished the Silver Princess and then talked to your mayor, you would want to head directly to Saltmarsh to warn the people there. It wouldn't make since to go investigate the ravine. However, even if I some how manage to block access to the ravine map, you could always cheat your way there. Therefore, this is more of a role playing vs game playing issue and I will leave it up to each player to decide.

I approve, why arbitrarily restricting it? As it is clearly mentioned that you could become to strong if you do each of the adventure branches in existence, and therefore the game too easy, it is fully up to the player to decide/roleplay what to do. If he is more the carefully or rookie type of player he can get a little bolster of xp and be happy. I have done so, but i took care not to gain too much xp, as i remembered your warning Sir BillyBob. Even then the lizards and the starting sequence in westgate were really hard

(uups not the place, but balance-wise the first time in westgate there were clerics in platemail each with the club Blackblood +3 +3 acid . One of them incinerated vildamyr in a blink with a flamestrike of nearly 100 damage.
After i loaded anew, the clerics had the cloth avatar and were way easier to defeat...)

(Another issue is, that there are two different types of "orc priest" in the slaver areas, placed contingently: The first dies after a backstab of ~25-37 damage, the second bears 3+ backstabs, but other than hitpoints i'm not sure if there is a difference)

(sorry, thats all 0.48... :whistling: )

I am enjoying CA very much. I am impressed with the plots and characters.

I am having one little problem. I think it has been mentioned a couple of times before. After Ril's quest, when he joins the party, he will not follow movement commands, or pick things up. He seems to be the only one.

Have I missed something?

After Ril's quest is done? If so, then I suspect he is still trying to have one of his first banters with you. This sounds like a really old bug so I will see if we brought it back just for you. :)

I probably mentioned this for good already, but after coming back from the Vault, Ril instantly left the party and in his Manor he came towards me with his kick-out dialogue. So there was no dialogue, reward, anything concluding Mistmanor.

LOL. Thank you. I feel so special ! :D Ril's quest is done and I had the concludind banter. The moment he joins the party he cannot walk. I hope that helps.

Okay, the details about Ril being in the party and then asking about being kicked out is what I needed to know. That should help. I had fixed a dialog of his for version 0.48 so maybe another situtation is still making the bug retrigger. I can't see any of his regular dialogs causing problems but most of them are based on the assumption that he has already spoken about the rewards to everyone. So if he isn't saying that, it could be the cause here.

Bout Ril, I think “SetLeavePartyDialogFile()” in the first part of his script change's his dialogue to a wrong one. Removing it help's to get a correct dialogue, but bugs him later.

And few minor things before I forget
Nephelium Chain actually has base AC 4 (AC 3 in description)
Candella's banter with Chaarna (BCANDELL.d) is finished by *END* instead of *EXIT*, which result in no valid replies.

Good to see this module progress, you people are doing a great work!

The chain mail is just a copy of the ingame +1 chain mail. That mail has the same settings. So if mine is wrong, it is because the game's +1 chain mail is also wrong.

Candella's banter is now fixed. Thanks.

Sorry, chain mail itself is fine, only description is wrong. Chain mail +1 has AC 4, and Nephelium one has AC 4 too, but description says it has AC 3.
