Try this one.

Rename to .GAM. Make sure you keep your original as a backup just in case.

I can't believe it! Everything works perfectly, there's no sign of BG1 Jaheira and the game doesen't crash. Superb. Thank you very much. I'm impressed at how well this forum works and helps people :Bow:

No worries. Hopefully, the latest changes I've made to BGT-WeiDU will ensure that we don't have to fix saved games for everyone.

No worries. Hopefully, the latest changes I've made to BGT-WeiDU will ensure that we don't have to fix saved games for everyone.


Just curios if it is going to happen soon or not ... just because i'll have to start a new BGT game very soon (to test also the spawn system) and i'd like to know if i have to face that bug in BG2 or not (just to avoid coming back in 2 months and bother u asking some help with the .sav game),

New game, no prob ... currently testing an ONLY BGT game (interested in Bg1 part to test the spawn system and it seems to work smoothly!). After that i will start again from scratch a new Mega-game too :-)

PS: ... i'll get back to u as soon as i've completed the mod, i think i'll have to upload it somewhere 'cause the new baf files are close to 100MB now and i'm only half of coding all the areas)

Hi Ascension, I've got the same problem, tried the NI route but my game would crash after loading.

Hey thanks A64! :Bow: I got a chance to try it out today and it works fine. No problems except the old Jaheira love bug lag once she came back...

Heavily modded? Oh yes, its the BWP/erebusant remix, shaken and stirred. :D Mostly just the big mods and tweaks, with only a couple of npcs added in. Also all IWD pics and sounds and 1pp for that IWD flavor.

Seriously, I had no problems in BG1 with a big installation. Less than 5 crashes total, and I couldn't replicate any particular crash (it was probably spellcasting related, or too many things on screen etc.) I did play straight through from BG1 to BG2. Jaheira had booked out of party in one of the taverns in BG(bug from BG1 NPC with Coran) so she wasn't there in the transfer.

Hi there, I seem to have the same problem (wrong Jaheira shows up after having left with Meronia). I searched through this topic and a few others, but couldn't really identify a solution; I did manage to get the BG1 Jaheira to show up dead on the ground, but that's not really the effect I'm going for!

I've attached the .gam file from my save (saved after she leaves but before she returns), along with my log file of installed mods in case that's relevant. Also, the version of BGT I have installed is 1.07.

I'd be very grateful if someone (Ascension?) could fix this for me please - thanks!

Greetings. I have the same problem as described above.
Although when I tried to edit Baldur.gam with NI 1.32, there is only ?*AHEIR11? names in lower-right corner (list of the non-player characters). And when I view any of them ? it?s SoA Jaheira.

BGT version is 1.07, but it was translated to Russian (text only). I don?t think it makes any difference, but who knows?
