1) Fallout 2
2) Command & Conquer 3
3) Baldur's Gates
4) Diablo II
5) Temple of Elemental Evil
I also recommend these games;
Icewind Dale if you like BG in multiplayer...
Fallout if you like the RPG choices of BG...
Starwars: Knights of the Old Republic, if you like the NWN ruleset etc.
C&C for the RTS element...

2) Fallout series -> just because I like SF setting more than fantasy
3) BG Trilogy -> you all know it
4) Half-life series -> a legend
5) F.E.A.R. -> as good as Half-life
A few recommended games -> Civilization, Tomb Raider, BioShock, Bloodrayne, Broken Sword, System Shock, Clive Barker's Undying, Earth 2160, Freelancer, LOTR- Battle For Middle-Earth, No One Lives Forever (If you want a James Bond parody this is a must), Obscure, Prince Of Persia, Shadowgrounds, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, SimCity, SW- Republic Commando, The Longest Journey, The Suffering, Titan Quest (Diablo II style), Warhammer 40k: Dawn Of War, Alone in the dark, GTA.

You obviously weren't joking. The thing that might send you to totally wrong scene is the becoming of Fallout 3, which is first person action game.Joking? Er... Ah, yes... joking! Of course! * clears throat * Maybe some racing games?
Now, as the original games came on 1997 and 1998, the graphs isn't the thing that makes people play that game, the game mechanisms is(read is as the RPG rules).
