HOMM3 rules.
May I ask, why? Because there are many different creatures? (Hmm.... Still my favourite town is Dungeon!)

You mean in general or in regards to the others in the series? It's tons better than the first two, in every possible way. I remember disliking the fourth installment for some reason (IIRC I didn't like the screens compared to the ones in #3, probably too 3D or something of the like), never checked out number 5. At some point I'll follow Grunker's advise and see how it is. Right now the next one on my list is IWD II.May I ask, why? Because there are many different creatures? (Hmm.... Because of balance I think. Then again Tower+EarthMagic combo isn't really balanced...May I ask, why? Because there are many different creatures?
V was made by Nival, completely different Russian company. Not sure what exactly you were referring to though. I've been following the development process for some time and not sure if they did listen to community - much of flame was on forums that time. What they did in favor of fans for certain was the postponement of release after Ubisoft had been bombarded by angry beta-testers.But the developer's seem to have listened

Yeah, we used to play HOMM3 with my boyfriend till the very morning... although without the alcohol and said substancesLongnights + alcohol/substances-with-somewhat-questionable-legality + HoMM3 hotseat with 1-2 buddies = great, great fun! I think one of the most compelling thing about the game is the fact that it has such a great multiplayer value, one that can be played on a single PC!
Elminster this, Elminster that. Give me 2000 years and a pointy hat and I will kick his arse.

Yeah, that's right... And it's usually very hard to make a break too - I often would sit to play for an hour, then to realize it was about 6 hours. That's why I never play it when I don't have a luxury of much free time.Longnights + alcohol/substances-with-somewhat-questionable-legality + HoMM3 hotseat with 1-2 buddies = great, great fun!
