People, I have a question. I've installed many games from here, like BG, NWN and Morrowind. I played every game, many times... And now I got bored... (Yes, I play with mods, of course.) And now I have a request. Please, list here your 5 favourite games. (If this isn't the right forum, I apologize). Just I, wish to know, what games do people play these days. You know. I like games... but the top five today are:

1) Fallout 2
2) Command & Conquer 3
3) Baldur's Gates
4) Diablo II
5) Temple of Elemental Evil

I also recommend these games;
Icewind Dale if you like BG in multiplayer...
Fallout if you like the RPG choices of BG...
Starwars: Knights of the Old Republic, if you like the NWN ruleset etc.
C&C for the RTS element...

Good start, Jarno. C&C 3 I also played many times (even The Zero Hour). Diablo also. (Even LoD)

1) DeusEx -> best of the best
2) Fallout series -> just because I like SF setting more than fantasy
3) BG Trilogy -> you all know it
4) Half-life series -> a legend
5) F.E.A.R. -> as good as Half-life

A few recommended games -> Civilization, Tomb Raider, BioShock, Bloodrayne, Broken Sword, System Shock, Clive Barker's Undying, Earth 2160, Freelancer, LOTR- Battle For Middle-Earth, No One Lives Forever (If you want a James Bond parody this is a must), Obscure, Prince Of Persia, Shadowgrounds, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, SimCity, SW- Republic Commando, The Longest Journey, The Suffering, Titan Quest (Diablo II style), Warhammer 40k: Dawn Of War, Alone in the dark, GTA.

I rarely play new games, but chances are you haven't played some of those, so:

1. Planescape: Torment
2. Baldur's Gates
3. Fallout 1 & 2
4. Heroes of might & magic III
5. Icewind Dales, but only with wonderful NPC mods by Kulyok (for IWD I) and Domi (IWD II)

Ah, Heroes of Might & Magic III! One of my favourite games of all time. So, here's in addition to the games that have a forum here.

1. Soul Reaver - series
2. Beyond Good and Evil
3. Gabriel Knight 3
4. Mass Effect
5. Diablo II

Of course I love BG2, Morrowind and Planescape:Torment but they already have forums here.

Might & Magic VI-VIII
Sims2 (just for the wonderful possibilities in monster-creation.)

Yup, Heroes are cool! I bought a gold edition of HoMM, 11 in 1. With add-ons. Fallout is a shooter, right? But, what's a Soul Reaver? Titan Quest I've played, but Diablo 2 better.

I'd love to play Mass Effect, but I'm afraid my computer won't handle it And it's just the shame, shame, shame that I haven't tried The Witcher yet, considering how much I used to love books it's based on.

No One Lives Forever (I strongly recommend this), SW- Republic Commando, Portal, Oni, Half-life, DeusEx, Lost Planet.

You obviously weren't joking. The thing that might send you to totally wrong scene is the becoming of Fallout 3, which is first person action game.
Now, as the original games came on 1997 and 1998, the graphs isn't the thing that makes people play that game, the game mechanisms is(read is as the RPG rules).
